A figure is laying prone on his belly on a rooftop, sniper rifle cradled in his arms. The building is a bombed out ruin in a city of bombed out ruins, torn apart by the fight for freedom. Or the war on terror. Depends on your side.
For this man, his side is the one with the money.
Waiting patiently, he speaks lowly to his partner - a Zangoose, visible through the hole in the roof behind him, on the floor below. He is busy with a satellite-uplink computer, checking his partner's bank accounts and contract offers.
???: How long we been trackin' this one, Z?
<Zack: While, chief.>
???: I should think so. Feels like a while.>
<Zack: Once you got him, come check this out. Got an interesting offer.>
???: -grunt of acknowledgement-
Time passes.
More time passes.
It's been two hours since either of them did anything significant.

He then shuffles back, and jumps down the hole. Carefully dismantling the gun, he pears over Zack's shoulder.
???: Huh. That's a new one. "Retainer." What am I, a lawyer? Z, do I look like a lawyer to you?

They work in silence, Zach composing a message, the man finishing stowing his rifle.
