"I mean over the course of my time here I've stopped this world from melding with the dream world, fought a criminal organization, found out I have a twin, fought two other criminal organizations, raised a Phione, stopped someone from taking control of time, been chased by Snorlax, found out I have a cousin, found out I'm related to an old warlord, found out said old warlord tried to kill me as a Bisharp, gained a divine artifact, fought an obscuric assassin, fought a Cyborg who could manipulate time, fought a giant killer robot, and started dating the most fun quirky cute girl I've ever met after she lured me into a hotel room with an embarrassing text conversation and surprised me by having taken the time to get into a full bridal dress just to make me feel awkward."

"... Wait, Hikari did all that?" she blinked "What happened to that girl during all these years...?" she asked, likely thinking aloud.

-A while has past, and Skarlet decides to have another look at that alley, only to find it completely deserted-

Marie stops to think for a moment, before regaining her composure "She's your girlfriend. She should be the one telling you about herself, not me, if she hasn't told you about it yet, then she must have her reasons and I'm not going to intrude on it." she stops to think more "I will say though that when I met her she was going through difficult times and I believe it was through the times we spent together that she started to feel better. Either way, she was a wonderful friend to me nonetheless even if she was different from the woman you know now."

Lockjaw leans back from the hit, nearly falling down on his back, before managing to catch himself, and resume his song.

-Fletcha probably can't go very far into the Secret Base without being noticed, but he can probably see it is furnished with a simple dollshelf for the Banette, and a large bed for, presumably, Sird and the Persian lounging on it to share-

"She might have changed, might not, perhaps she's doing as you used to. Only instead of repressing her emotions, she's exaggerating her other ones in order to hide the less pleasant ones. If that's the case, it's not hard to imagine how you two ended up getting together." said Marie "Either way, be careful with how you approach this topic with her." she said, then tapping the Lovers card in order to make a point "I only wish the best for Hikari and so I don't want to see what sounds to be a lovely relationship go down the drain because of secrets."

She's your girlfriend, if one can't bring themselves to be open with the other, then it's a sign that maybe the relationship was never meant to be." she sighed "I'll be doing my own search on that subject as well, as I'm worried about her now. Don't expect me to share my findings with you though, I'm not of the kind that goes around spreading gossip about her friends."

Jacob: -He glares at Marie, and the room seems to cool just a little bit- "... An open heart may be necessary for a relationship to blossom but very rarely will that happen within just a few months or even a year of being in a relationship. I care about her enough to want to help her but that means not forcing this. But if you do find something of... signficant value, I would think it'd be... impractical to try hiding it from me."

-He pauses, closes his eyes, and takes a deep breath- "Sorry I'm... getting all worked up over this."

Marie seemed unfazed by the glare, she then closed her eyes and took a deep breath "I see your point. I honestly have no idea how long you two have been together, but either way, if Hikari found out that I had been telling personal info about her to you, I doubt she'd be eager to trust either of us for much longer and I personally am not willing to risk a friendship like that when there is a far less problematic option available." She then opened her eyes again and smiled "The most I can do to you is try to motivate her to tell you. No more, no less."

Maybe she won't want to talk about it ever. If that's her choice I'll respect it."

-As Fletcha climbes higher, he notices that he's on a fairly small island that's sparsely populated with buildings, one prominently smack dab in the middle, with the whole area having a bit of a touristy vibe.-

Fletcha: Hmm, still don't recognize any of this...Oh, there's a Pokemon Center. Hopefully that'll have some useful information or something...

-He heads over, and once in front of it he notices a sign that reads:

Huh, the battle resort, I think I remember reading about this place...

Great, so all I need to do is find a phone I can work with tomorrow, and I can hopefully reconnect with my team...

-He finds a suitable tree and falls asleep-

Cleo presses a button and moves her head down towards the mike.

Cleo: Dear employees and patrons. The building is currently on fire. Follow the set procedurals and evacuating the building immediately. We are most sorry for your disturbances this evening.

Cleo ends the call and begins coughing again.

Cleo: Pakhet...? Now would be a good time...

Pakhet winks Cleo, Montu and herself out of the burning building.
