ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

Hmm. I guess not all Pokémon are easy to buy for.

As for what I've got so far, I think most of my Pokémon would like a Hold Item of some sort, since they all quite like to battle. Also, I think a few of them, like Woolly for example, would like something nice to wear, too.

-Decides to look at his laptop-

Maybe I'll make some Seals myself for my Pokemon.

-Jane is currently reading a book in the Inn Library/Lobby about astrological signs-

Hmm... That reminds me. Now that Ribbons has evolved, I should probably do some slight changes to the seals on her pokeball capsule.

At the moment only Luxray has a Seal in my case.

Yeah, mine all like to fight as well. I don't really think they need items though. Most of the stuff is just cosmetic.

-walks out of the inn wearing a black winter coat-

Kecleon: <Yes, A Kecleon! Hello!>

-I pull myself up.-

Kecleon: <My sincere apologies for getting in your way. It was not my intention to trip you up. However, I couldn't help but overhear you and your friend talking about making some purchases, yes?>

Yes, why?

Kelceon: <Well, it just so happens that I am a merchant of many fine wares of all sorts. Normally, I don't sell to humans, mainly due to the language barrier, but you seemed to be able to communicate with Pokemon somehow. I do find that slightly strange, but a customer is a customer, as I always say!>

So, you run a shop?

Kecleon: <Exactly! Now, would you and your friend be interested in browsing my wares?>

Well, I wouldn't mind.

-I look back at Librarian.-

As long as it isn't illicit, I'm fine with it.

-Leaves a message on Luke's Xtransceiver telling him about where they're going-

Kecleon: <Certainly not, this is a legitimate operation! All of my wares are perfectly legal! You have my word as a merchant!>

Okay, okay! You certainly seem to know what you're doing. Now, would you mind showing us where your shop is?

Kecleon: <But of course! Now, if you would like to follow me...>

-Kecleon leads us to an abandoned building of some sort.-

Is this your shop? It looks like it's been condemned.

Kecleon: <Yes. Unfortunately Pokémon are not allowed to own human properties, so we have to make do with ones that have been abandoned. It's a sad state of affairs, isn't it?>

-Kecleon goes over to the side of the building, where there's a trap door leading to the basement. The Pokémon skilfully uses his tongue to open it up, revealing a set of stairs leading downwards.-

Kecleon: <Come along now! It's just down here...>

-Kecleon leads us downstairs. Upon reaching the basement, we find that it is pitch black.-

Um, I can't see anything!

Kecleon: <Well of course! I haven't turned the light on yet! Hang on...>

-There's the sound of a tongue being shot out and hitting something, which was obviously the light switch, as the lights suddenly come on, revealing rows upon rows of shelves stocked with probably every sort of item imaginable.-

...Wow.

Kecleon: <Impressive, no?>

Yeah, very impressive.

Kelceon: <Excellent! Now, feel free to browse my wares, and do not hesitate to inform me if anything takes your fancy. Oh, and one more thing...>

-Kecleon's expression suddenly turns deadly serious.-

Kecleon: <DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT STEALING ANYTHING. THIEVES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. UNDERSTOOD?>

Eep! Understood!

-Kecleon's expression returns to normal.-

Kecleon: <Excellent!>

-My Xtransceiver suddenly beeps.-

Oh sorry, let me get that.

-I check the message.-

Hmm...So Tagg's gone off with the others. We'd best hurry this up then.

-I start browsing the shelves, my hand accidentally brushing the drool-covered light switch. I cringe and wipe my hand on my pants- Eeegh...

Yeah, we probably should...but geez, there's a lot of stuff in here! Where do you get it all, Kecleon?

Well, I was wondering what a Kecleon was doing in the middle of a cold place like Wintown.

Kecleon: <I'm not surprised. This is not the most suitable place for a Pokémon such as myself to set up shop, but most of the other towns and places in this world already have another Kecleon merchant.

I would never be able to compete with them, so I decided to go somewhere where there wouldn't already be one. And since a Kecleon wouldn't normally think of living here, Wintown was my choice.>

Oh. Very interesting.

-I pick up a Red Scarf from a shelf.-

Kecleon: <Oh yes! That's a Red Scarf, imported directly from the Hoenn region! Not only will it keep you neck warm, it makes the wearer look inherently cooler!>

How much cooler? 20 percent?

Kecleon: <That's a good estimate, yes!>
