Jack: So how'd you end up with Strom?

Sea

Tori: "Well, my Dad's a breeder and daycare owner. So he got me an egg to hatch for my first pokemon, sort of a family tradition"

Sea

Jack: Huh, my grandpa does that as well.

Sea

Tori: "Go figure, Is he up in Unova too?"

Sea

Jack: No, he lives in Kanto.

Mossdeep

The Lotus bud grows significantly before bursting open.

Sol: My my, Lifealope. You sure know how to make an entrance~

Lifealope: {...I wish not to take part in the violent sideshow you came here for. I just want to see my daughter...}

Solana pats Lifealope's neck.

Sol: I know boy. You've never been a big fan of fighting.

Lifealope: {...Creating takes less energy and is twice-fold rewarding....}

Blue: Oh, nothing, I'd just, er, rather be working.

Gong: ~Sometimes she goes without sleeping...~

Blue's stomach growls loudly, and she blushes.

Gong: ~Or eating. I was trying to get her to relax for a bit. Name's Gong, by the way. And she's-~

Blue: Bluebell. Bluebell Cho. But most people call me Blue.

Mossdeep — Past

Diane: Oh, I know the "forgetting to eat" thing. One of my girlfriends forgets all the time, and I have to take her out for her to remember at all.

-She gestures toward Skye, who goes bright red.-

Skye: I-it's not that bad!

Alyssa: It kind of is...

Diane: Anyway! I'm Diane Jaide, and these are Skye and Alyssa.

-They wave meekly.-

Blue: Oh! Uhm, hi. Yeah.

She seems kind of... not shocked, but, shy? Startled? She's obviously not used to polyamory. Gong, meanwhile, just rolls with it.

Gong: ~Cool. So, you folks here to soak up some sun?~

Sea - Yesterday

Tori: "Oh, well I doubt he's run into my Dad then. I've never been to Kanto though, it sounds pretty interesting"

Mossdeep — Past

-Diane doesn't seem to acknowledge Blue's surprise.-

Diane: Yep! Preferably without Skye burning again.

Skye: That was one time.

Blue: Oh, dear. Yeah? That always sucks. Me, I'm used to sun.

Gong: ~No. You would be, if you ever went outside.~

Blue: Hush you.

Mossdeep — Past

Diane: What sort of stuff do you do, anywaay, that keeps you inside all the time?

Blue: I'm an, er, inventor.

Gong: ~She's a mad scientist, is what she is.~

Blue: Remember when I told you to hush? That's still a thing.

Mossdeep — Past

-Diane's eyes light up. Skye and Alyssa sweatdrop-

Skye: ...Oh boy, here we go.

Diane: Ooh, an inventor? I knew there was a reason I came and found you!

Gong: ~Still have yet to meet her.~

Blue's stomach growls again.

<???: I sense a hungry soul. NON SHALL GO HUNGRY IN MY PRESENCE! Forwaaaaaaaard!>

Sea

Jack: Yeah, probably not.

And Kanto's alright. The Pokemon Tower is creepy if you want to check it out, but other than that, there's not too much there.

Sea

Tori: "Pokemon Tower..."

-She thinks for a moment-

"...Isn't that the a grave site? Sounds kinda like Mt Pyre"

Strom: <When you put it that way, any gravesite sounds like Mt Pyre>

Sea

Jack: I don't think I've been to Mt. Pyre yet.

But it's full of Ghost Pokemon.

And ghosts of Pokemon.

It's quite chilling.

Sea

strom: <Spooky>

Tori: "I'll bet... Sounds pretty interesting though. I'll keep that in mind if I decide to look for a Ghost type"

Sea

Jack: They're only Gastly and a few Haunters, if that makes any difference.

Mossdeep City

-Savannah is drinking a can of lemonade as she walks toward the gym. When she gets there, she sees the girl she met the other day standing just outside. The girl notices Savannah and waves.-

Addie: Hello! Savannah, right?

Savannah: Y-yeah, that's right. You said you were Addie?

-Addie nods.-

Addie: Mhm!

-Savannah avoids eye contact and holds her arms closer to her body as she takes another sip of lemonade. Addie notices her nervousness and warmly smiles.-

Addie: So, are you here to challenge the gym?

Savannah: Yeah.

Addie: Me too! Do you have any badges from elsewhere?

Savannah: Er... six so far.

Addie: Wow... you're better off than I am. This'll be my first gym battle ever.

-She pauses.-

Hey, I know we don't know each other real well and all, but do you want to do this as partners?

-Savannah tilts her head.-

Savannah: P-partners?

Addie: Yeah! There are two gym leaders here, why not two challengers? I see a lot of people do that kind of thing.

-She smiles.-

If you'd be willing, of course. Like I said, this is my first time challenging a gym. I wouldn't want to hold you back or anything like that. I mean, my mons used to be my sister's, so they've been battling much longer than I have, but I'm still inexperienced. And they're all Grass-types, too, so that might mess with strategies you might've put together. But both Lunatone and Solrock are Rock-type, and those are practically the Leaders' signatures, but I'm sure they have counters and—

I'm sorry, I'm rambling.

Savannah: No, i-it's fine!

-She looks back down at her lemonade for a second before smiling back.-

S-sounds fun! Er... u-us challenging the gym together, I-I mean...

-She blushes. Addie smiles again.-

Addie: Do you think maybe we should practice first? To meet each other's mons, get to know each other better and get used to working as a team?

Savannah: Sure! I-if you think it would help.

-She hides her returning blush with another sip of lemonade.-

-The two of them are probably still outside the gym at this moment.-

-Zeal and Gui are probably elsewhere.-
