I'm not sure what to think about my own... well... I've been avoiding seeing my dad ever since what happened with Mel. And he's really been reaching out to me, but I can't bring myself to face him...

<Really? That is weird! I never noticed that before.>

-He chuckles-

<I guess Greninja don't have as good a sense of smell as you do>

Lavaridge

"<What is a Greninja?>"

Duke then walks over.

"Oh, hi Blitz." said Duke, with a wave.

She's not absolutely dead unless there's a body to see with our own eyes. At any rate, I hope we can get that asshole one of these days. I promise that when that day comes, if I'm able I'll help you Zeal.

Robin: I'll have this black and bleu burger.

"I'm doing all right. I captured this little guy here and that's pretty much it." said Duke

"<You smell like a human but you're a Pokémon and he smells like a Pokémon but is a human. Dude, what's going on with the world?>" said the Deino, looking dizzy.

Lavaridge Town

Zeal: Thanks... I hope you will be able to. But right now, I'm not in any hurry for that to happen. I went insane searching for him and found nothing... but I realized I really don't have to be hunting him down. Based on his messages, he did that...

-He blinks a few times to try to hide that his eyes are watering.-

He did that just to spite me. Which makes it all the more terrible, but... I get the feeling there's something drawing him to me. That he cares more about me than I do him.

<Oh? So you're finally gonna introduce me to the team?> -Shinobi teased before turning to the Deino-

<I'm impressed! Most people can't tell about Duke. Though you might not believe the reason...>

Duke chuckled "I just figured you would be too busy with your own life to go around following me."

"<Can't tell what?>"

<Yeah, I appreciate that. Though I probably should get back to my training soon>

-He chuckles and turns to the Deino- <That Duke smells like a pokemon. I didn't notice that, doesn't surprise me though>

If that's the case, once we've figured out what that is we can go trap him.

Lavaridge Town

-Zeal nods.-

Zeal: I'm hoping on that.

Lavaridge

"No need to hurry, after all you should probably focus more on your human life." said Duke

"<Eeeeeeeeeh? But isn't he a Pokémon?>" said the Deino, then looking towards Blitz "<Are you lying to me? Are you trying to fool me because I can't see?>"

Lavaridge

<Yeah, but it's my human side that nearly got murdered.>

-Shinobi rubs the back of his neck-

<Not on purpose, but it IS pretty confusing... I'm a pokemon right now, but I was originally Human. I still am a lot of the time, I just felt like being a Greninja tonight>

Lavaridge

"Well, you shouldn't really be too worried about that one time. Sure, it was bad, but I don't think that's going to happen again." said Duke, rubbing the back of his neck.

The Deino just tilts his head.

Lavaridge

<Yeah, I know, just trying to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, all the training I did must have payed off some since I'm still alive and in decent shape>

-He shrugs-

<But that's the past, so no point worrying about it.>

I think I'll be skipping the Mind Bogglers battle because not much interest was shown in it and the background thing is done.

Glitz Pit Minor League Locker Room

-Maggie, Volcamel, and Stageshow walk into the room after their match-

Stageshow: <Quite impressive how you managed to see through our illusions... We'll have to improve our technique for next time.>

Volcamel: <I'm just> -sniffs- <lucky I could> -sniffs- <keep my sneezes> -sniffs- <sorta controlled.>

King K: <Hey, great match out there guys.>

<But, I've got some news. I told the rest of the guys already, but...>

<The rest of the team and I talked and... we're retiring.>

Stageshow: <Oh? That's a shame.>

King K: <Well, yeah, but we're pretty sure the ring's not going to take us much of anywhere and we think we're ready to call it quits.>

<Well, 'called it quits' is more accurate, since we already retired formally. They're just letting us stick around until we get our last paycheck tomorrow.>

Stageshow: <Well, good luck with your future endeavors.>

Volcamel: <Yeah> -sniffs- <good luck.>

Maggie: "..."

King K: <What's up, S-dawg? Skitty got your tongue?>

Maggie: "Er... This is going to sound weird, but stay on your toes?"

King K: <...If you say so, man.>

<Well, after recovering and J-con I've been kinda lazy really... Tori and I visited our family for a little bit though. Figured we should do that at least once before leaving town>

"Right. I'm guessing you and Sakura haven't been up for much either."

"Oh really? Well, I'll keep an eye open in any case. I'll be going now, see you around." he then looked to the Deino "Come on."

Duke then begins walking away, while the Deino ends up going in the exact opposite direction. It takes a few seconds for Duke to come back and guide the Deino properly.
