(On closer inspection, the card game appears to be a casual match of Yu-Gi-Oh. The girls, too, have more distinct features up close. The one in white is East Asian, with distinctly short hair and an equally short stature. The girl in black, meanwhile, is exceptionally tall - around the height of a tall male, and quite gaunt to boot - with dark skin and hair tied back in a braided ponytail. Between turns, they engage in a hushed conversation, of which Morgi should catch-)

White One: -overheating again?

Black One: Yyyyep. Lovris told me, and you know what she's like - more knowledge of this place's tech specs than the engineers.

White One: That's just crazy! How is this place still flying if the engines are never working right?!

Black One: Fuck if I know. It's a total black box; nobody knows how the damn things were made, and there's even less info on-

(The chat dries up abruptly as Morgi is noticed.)

Black One: Bel, there's a kid here. Why is there a kid in the common room?

Jason:She's my cousin, girls.

-He places a hand on Morgi's shoulder.-

"All right, so I'll be going with you two. Or I could give you a ride!" said the boy

"Well, this complicates things." thought Sakura.

-Morgi used Pout. It's not very effective.-

-Dune and Deziree are both slumped back on a bench, looking rather tired. Dune's shirt is torn at the shoulder, revealing a recently-placed bandaid.-

Dune: Is today over?

Deziree: I hope so.

-The two of the slump onto each other, Dune wincing when Deziree starts leaning on his bandaid.-

-Chum does indeed hear the humming-

Chum: <Hm... Wonder what that is...>

-Crow has come here with his team, Fishy and Gogie currently out of their balls-

Fishy: <Uh... Crow? Isn't there a contest we're supposed to be doing in Slateport?>

Crow: "Oh, yeah. Not for a while yet, actually. Turns out the one we signed up for isn't for another 2 weeks."

Fishy: <...Really?>

Crow: "Yeah. Dunno why they had registration sheets going that late, buuut yeah."

"Does give you more time to practice, though."

Fishy: <...Yeah.>

<Isn't there a Gym here, though?>

Crow: "Well, yeah, but you're still pure Water-type, even with Mud Sport."

"And I've got two Ground types and three Grass-types anyway, so it shouldn't be much of a problem."

Fishy: <...Kay. I'll... work on that appeal, then.>

-He goes off to find a suitable spot-

Gogie: <Er... Should I try and contact Bishop, then?>

Crow: "...Now would probably be a good time for that, yeah."

Gogie: <Er... Crow, you feeling okay?>

Crow: "...Not exactly, but I think you'd better get to that. I'll get it taken care of."

Gogie: <...If you're sure.>

Crow: "I am."

Gogie: <Right...>

-He goes into his ball, while Crow types out a text-

Belinda: Oh, sorry, sorry! Uzuri, Penny, this is my boyfriend Jason and his cousin Morgan. They're here for a trip. Jason, Morgi, I'd like you to meet Penny Cheng of Sage House-

(The girl in white waves cheerfully.)

-and Uzuri Blake, captain of the Black Hat Group, who occasionally bothers to come back and visit her old common room. ;3

Uzuri: (shrug) Not my fault the Hats are cooler.

(Belinda then whispers in Jason's ear.)

Belinda: Penny doesn't know you're a J-Team member, and until I decide it's safe to tell her, could you please keep it that way?

-he gives a half chuckle-
