-Jason is laying on a bed, phone in hand, trying to think of something to put in a message.-

Kiyo:<U...Um...Jason?>

-He rolls over to face tge dragonsnake.-

Hm? What is it, Kiyo?

<That...that boy earlier...>

Eskay? What about him?

<U-Um...I...saw something...while I um...hid in his shirt...>

-Jason tries to nit snicker at the memory of the sillyness.-

And?

<He...he has a scar on his chest...>

Hm? Oh, that. I know about it.

<You...you do?>

Yeah. I found out about it...well...around the time I got mine.-

<Y-You mean...!>

-Jason lifts up the side of his shirt, revealing the jagged scar Kusaru had given him.-

<Oh....Arceus...when did you...>

A few months ago...it's kind of a long story...

-Kiyo coils up.-

<I...I have all the time in the world...>

Hah...I suppose you do, huh...

-He spends the next chunk of time explaining his problems to the Dratini.-

Kiyo:<W...Wow...I had no idea...>

-Jason applies pets to the snake.-

Jason:It is kinda a lot to take in...isn't it?

-Kiyo nuzzles.-

Kiyo:<Yeah...but...I...I'm going to help! I...don't any of my friends getting hurt...>

-Jason smiles and hugs Kiyo.-

Jason:You will...thanks, Kiyo...

-Maria and Lane wander around.-

Maria:Oooh, I knew training there was a bad idea!

Lane:How was I supposed to know there were Voltorb there?

-A rather bored Blitz is sitting at his laptop while a few windows full of technical jargon hover on the screen-

Blitz: "Finally! Let's see..."

"Plenty room on the hard drive still..."

"No viruses apparently..."

"... What in the world is a MFLOP and why am I supposed to get more of them?!?'

[Translation: This unit is running below optimal speeds. Recommended course of action: Defragment hard drive]

[Would you like to begin defragmentation? Y/N]

[Y]

Blitz: "No no no! I didn't want to do that NOW!"

[Estimated time to completion: 4 hrs 38 min 23 sec]

Blitz: -Facepalms- "Oy. So much for using this computer tonight..."

-There may be a knocking on the door to Blitz's room.-

Blitz: "Huh? Who could that be?"

-The door is pulled open-

Uta:<Jiggly~!>

-Blitz may be facehugged by a pink puff ball.-

-The girl outside sweatdrops.-

Blitz: "Wh-Augmpf!"

-A moment of flailing ends in Blitz pulling the puffball off his face and holding it at arm's length to see what he's been assaulted with-

"Shesh, you're a friendly one."

-He chuckles, and then sees the girl outside-

"Is this yours?"

Thorne Room

Maria:Yes...Yes she is. Hey there, Blitz.

Uta:-wiggles-<Hi!>

Thorne nope, just Blitz's Room

Blitz: "Hi, it's nice to meet you"

-He sets the Jigglypuff down and ruffles her hair-

"Hey yourself, what brings you over Maria? Wanted to show off your new pokemon?"

Blitz's Room

-Maria giggles.-

Maria:Well...maybe that was part of the reason.-

-She gives a small smile.-

I guess I kinda started to miss ya. I haven't talked with you for a while.

-She shifts slightly.-

So...may I come in?

-Uta hops like an adorable puffball.-

Blitz's Room

Blitz: "Yeah, guess it has been a while. Why not?"

-he gestures to the couple of chairs available and takes a seat on the bed-

"Make yourself comfy, I guess"

Blitz's Room

Maria:Alright!

-She finds a seat...but it's likely on the bed opposite or near Blitz. The chairs are ignored!-

-Maria leans forward and rests her head in her hands. If anything, she looks...kinda stiff. Uta busies herself with playing with hoodie string.-

So~! How've ya been~?

Blitz's Room

-The boy scoots a little to make sure there is room as it becomes obvious Maria is headed for the bed too-

Blitz: "Eh, doing okay I suppose. Not a whole lot going on really"

Other than Tori is probably still upset with me

"How about you, you feeling okay? New pokemon fitting in with your team alright?"

Blitz's Room

Maria:Uta? She's been fitting in...alright, so far.

Flashback!

-A certain puffball somehow glomps Scout with great force.-

Scout:<Wah!>

Uta:<Hi~!>

Scout:<Get offa me!>

-Sniff...sniffsniff...-

<Huh, jeeze. Don't...>

Uta:<Waaaaaaaah!>

Maria:Uta?

Scout:<Ah, jeeze kid, don't cry!>

And Now

Maria:As for me...I could be a little less sore...

-Makes a :-/ face.-

Ray dragged me to a dojo...

Blitz's Room

Blitz: "Oh, really? I didn't know Ray was into martial arts. They run you through some rough drills or something?"

-He starts rummaging in a drawer-

"I think I've got something that's supposed to be good for sore muscles if you want"

-But comes up with his pokeblocks first-

"Ooh"

-And munches on one real quick before resuming the search-

Dune: *Yawn!*

Deziree: Oh, c'mon Dune, don't yawn, you know that it's... *Yawn!*

Cun Annwn: *Yawn!*

Rill: *Yawn!*

Doofenshmirtz: *Yawn!*

DR. MOBIUS!: <...>

-Everyone turns to look at Mobius.-

DR. MOBIUS!: <... What? I have no biological need to yawn. I have no biology to have any needs for at all!>

Maria:Ooh, they were much worse than drills. And Ray did so much more than I did...

-She rubs her sore arms.-

But something for soreness soubns wonderful, right now.

-Uta, unfortunently, sees the Pokeblock case and flails toward it.-

Uta:<Oh! Oh! Can I have one? Please please please~?!>

Blitz's Room

Blitz: "Hm?" -Gulp- "You want one too? Sure."

-He hands Uta a pokeblock, then tosses a bottle of anti-inflammation medicine to Maria-

-To Maria- "That ought to help some, since potions don't work so great on humans from what I hear"

-She picks up Uta and walks away, smiling and giggling. The Jiggly waves.-

Goldenrod City

-As the sun rises across the Johto region, a rather unusual sight can be seen trotting into town - a Bouffalant laden down with all manner of baggage, suitcases, and even a full-sized wardrobe. Mounted atop the Bouffalant is a figure wearing what appears to be an extravagant black-and-gold dress suit, accompanied by a bauta mask and tricorne hat. He is humming merrily under his breath, tapping a Pokeball-topped cane against the side of one of his trunks. A weary-looking Kecleon follows behind the procession.-

Minstrel: Ah, is there any sight more wonderful than watching the sun shed light upon the blank canvas of a new morning? It waits for us to leave our mark upon it, and I for one see no reason to leave it wanting.

Poet: <Can we go and rent a room before you start weirding out passing strangers, please? I feel like I've been walking for hours...>

Minstrel: I know, I know, you're just as eager to begin our act as I am. But! We must acquaint ourselves with our surroundings first. A true thespian never takes to the stage without having first put on a rehearsal! Once we have found lodgings for ourselves-

Troubadour: <And checked out the local boutiques.>

Minstrel: -then we can set about the business of introducing our act. And if it so happens that there are matters in town requiring subtler stagecraft... why, then we can fade away quietly without drawing undue attention to our unique abilities.

Poet: <Like that's ever going to happen. You like showing off way too damn much to pass up a chance to put on a display.>

Minstrel: And of course we will make an effort to seek out any Contests staged nearby, as slim as the chance of finding one may be. You didn't even have to ask!

Poet: <That's not what I - look, I know you can't understand me, but would you mind not putting words in my mouth?>

Minstrel: It is such an engrossing routine, isn't it? Travelling from place to place, deciding where to perform, which costumes to don, what characters to play... why, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm so glad to hear that you share my sentiments, Poet.

-Poet sighs.-

Poet: <...You know what? Just forget it.>
