Salvador starts slowly moving the knife towards the back of Constantins' neck. His hands are shaking.

-Mirka is brought down to the red.-

Mirka: <Q— ...Echo does not tell who she does not trust.>

Echo: If Tagg is as observant as he's notorious for being, I'm sure he can figure it out on his own. Blizzard.

-Mirka once again unleashes a blast of frigid air at Thresher.-

-she kisses him back, then curls up and tucks her head in under his chin-

-Jason watches, his fingers drumming on his leg nervously, Senshi begins to heal his small cuts from the blood needles.-

Ren catches the Salvador's comment.

Ren: Forgive for sounding impertinent, Father Reverand, but are you two related?

And can Rio do that for you, your hands seem to be quite unsteady.

-Blitz notes the shaky hands and looks at Salvador-

Salvador freezes in place for a split-second, the flat of the blade resting upon the mark.

...And then suddenly there is a massive pulse of energy, blasting anyone nearby a good distance away.

-Blitz is blasted into a bush with a groan, it takes him a few moments to start pushing himself up again-

Blitz: "Ugh, what the-?"

-Rio grabs Ren as both are blasted away, thought rio takes the brunt of the blast and subsequent impact against a solid surface, reverting him back to his normal form.-

Ren: -dizzy- Did someone get the license plate number on that thing?

-And suddenly blast.-

Jason:Agh!

-Jason and Senshi are thrown back a good distance.-

Ugh...the...hell?

Jason's Cabin

Locke beams in delight."Glad you like it, I put a lot of work into maintaining it, though I have to thank and old friend for it's creation. Some words of advice from him were that 'the sword is the power of the warrior, it symbolizes invincible courage, but beware, the sword is also one of terrible destruction, use it with honor.'

He nods towards the buckler."Shields on the other hand, his words were 'The power of the guardian, one that has the kindness to aid friends, is the shield to repel all." He chuckles."No surprise which one he favored."

Jason:The power of the guardian, eh?

-He smirks.-

Having an introspective moment?

-Jason sweatdrops mentally.-

-He flips the sword around to hand it back, coincidentally with his buckler hand.-

-Is sent sprawling-

-Mirka is knocked out by the Gyro Ball.-

Echo: (Nǐ zuò de hěn hǎo...)

-She recalls Mirka and sends out a Sigilyph.-

Echo: Katchina, Thunder Wave.

-Katchina sends out a surge of electricity to paralyze Thresher.-

Mitonga

Instinctively, not acting on his own accord, Constantin lunges at the person who tried to make an incision on the back of his neck. Only to be blocked by a bronze metallic arm.

Constantin: Eh?

He looks up at the body of the creature that just blocked his attack. It's a somewhat elderly looking Gallade with the right side of his head, his neck and his right arm replaced with Clock Punk prosthetics. His right leg is also braced with matching copper and bronze wires.

Gallade: Be gone.

The voice is husky and somewhat metallic. It seems that the throat implement is both a replacement voice box and translator.

-blip!-

And just like that, Constantin is gone. The Gallade turns around to help the cloaked body slumped in a heap.

Gallade: ...I am so sorry Salvador. Had I arrived sooner, we could have saved your father...

Salvador: It is not your fault Shaka, it's mine. I had my chance, and I couldn't do it...

As the Gallade helps Salvador up, his mask falls off. Revealing that - outside of the darker skin and black hair - he is an exact doppelgänger for the madman who just tried to kill the group.

Salvador glances at them with wide, shaken eyes.

Jason's Cabin

As Locke took it back, the door opened and Ray poked her head through."Hey Locke, the outing's been postponed for a bit, the others aren't feeling too well." She waves."Hi, Jason!"

Locke nods, and then shakes Jason's hand."See you soon, Jason," and then leaves through the door, sword in his belt, but Ray shyly stayed behind.

Mitonga Road, past

-Getting up-

...Obviously Shaka hasn't told me the full story. I hope you're willing to explain, I'd hate to accidently reopen my stitches from shock.

Restaurant, tonight

Thresher was paralyzed!

Thresher: <Well this is annoying.>

Thresher, try a Shadow Claw!

Thresher: <Urk!>

Thresher is unable to move!

Jason:Dear...Arceus....you mean...Constantin...holy shit. But...

-He headtilts.-

Jason's Cabin, now

-After the door closes.-

Mitonga Road - Past

Blitz: "Well, that explains how you knew about that story and birthmark..."

-He pauses-

"But you look just like him... No way he could be old enough to be your dad, is there?"

Mitonga

Shaka replies bluntly.

Shaka: Time travel does tend to raise more questions than it answers. So technically, Me-from-the-past didn't shirk any details. At least, the details that wouldn't make you wretch in disgust or discomfort...

Salvador: ...

Shaka: Should we discuss this elsewhere? It is deathly cold, and the darkness of night does not make casual conversation easy...
