-Shadow also notices the brightly shining Psychic Gem that Feist is telekinetically holding-

Shadow: <Wait, is that...?>

Forte: Uh, is there something that you needed? Where's your trainer?

Feist: <Oh, relax, darlings. This won't hurt a bit...>

-Feist closes her eyes and focuses a Psybeam on the gem...-

Tangerine: -clutches her head suddenly and loses her balance- <Ack!>

-Forte does the same-

Forte: Whoa!

Feist: <Enjoy~> -hops away-

Munn: "You went into Fairyland?"

-it's a scenic improvement from the Forest, that's for certain. Large, majestic trees, springtime greenery, and flowers with colors that encompass the spectrum. There is space between the canopies to see the blue sky. It would make the Shire look like Detroit, were it not for the odd details scattered about-

Joseph: ...that's a rather large rubber Ducklett.

-the aforementioned Ducklett is the size of a large hill. It sits, smack dab, in the middle of a green field-

Joseph: ...surreal.

-he plucks a turnip from the ground-

Turnip: Hi! Are you my friend?

-back in the ground. Joseph investigates a radish-

Radish: Please kill me...

-wince, back in the ground. A potato-

Potato: AAAAAAAAAAAGH!

-back in the ground. Joseph looks out over the dirt road-

Joseph: Well, some things are right. I like it. It's magic-like.

-wanders down the road-

Shadow: <...ah. That other Espeon switched your minds? I thought it looked something like that.>

Shadow: -flicking his ears back- <Er... I don't think I can do that. They had a Chaos Gem boosting their abilities. If I tried, it'd probably just give you both headaches.>

Marie nodded."Yep." She looked around."Ya seem like a bit too "everyman-ish" to be in this weird gang, no offence meant at all.

Verax: "Locals noticed it after it was done. Reason they didn't notice the work is because apparently Zrone has a habit of using Psycics to conscript local civilians as free labor for building his facilities. I mean, that's a rumor I heard. I also heard the same guy say Zrone has laser eyes, so you might want to take it with a grain of salt."

"Oh and I heard Articuno lived on the mountain? You'd have to wonder why it wouldn't have just destroyed it... well I mean unless you're me and you think the bird just didn't think Illusion was worth the effort. But I'm not the bird, so I dunno."

-Looks around- "This may be a last chance to talk until this is all wrapped up. Any questions, concerns? Anything doubts in who I'm working for here?"

After what happened in Boyleland I certainly wouldn't put it past Zrone to do something like that. Any other nasty security features we should be worried about?

-he pricks an ear. He doesn't hear the boy scream, because he didn't. What he did hear was laughter. Everything around him-the leaves, the grass, the dirt, the flowers, the mons that he assumed were decoration-all are laughing like they were watching Blazing Saddles on a dopamine drip-

-Joseph watches as what he thought were Murkrows turn out to be little gnomes in funny hats. An acorn bounces, and opened to let out a little green girl who beat the ground with her fists. A door in the rubber Ducklett opens, and out spills a horde of Sylveon, Slurpuff, Florges, and almost every Fairy type you could name-

Joseph: ...um.

Verax: "Not as far as I know, except it's stuffed with guards. Well and the standard Porygon-killing security. Oh and the fact that the Avalon is kind of sitting right on top of the mountain right now and they have your airship tagged. They see it coming close to the base there's no way I can guarantee they won't just shoot you out of the sky. Though whatever that Heatran did to it back in Boyeland weakened the actual Avalon system. I would say with some tricky coordinating, a little luck and maybe a little help you guys should be able to get through it. Still two-hundred thirty seven interlaced interwoven protects sounds a little intimidating anyways, but you should be fine, provided that even if you take the Avalon down every guard on base will be waiting for you."

"... Actually I had a thought on how to deal with that but it'd need a three pronged assault. A group going after the airship, a group going in through the front door, and a group going in through the telepads. I mean, that's how I'd do it, but you guys made it this far, you guys are kind of experts on taking out enemy bases like this."

-Pulls out and flips an obsidian dagger around a little- "Anything else?"

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Verax: "Thanks. I'd wish you the same, but you don't need it. You know the reason Cipher thought you were dangerous, I mean aside from having run in with us before? It's because you're by far one of the smartest and most resourceful people we'd encountered. I don't care how strong or talented you are, an average joe or idiot is never a threat. Even if you're a weakling, the single most dangerous asset an enemy can have is intelligence, and Illusion is learning that very quickly about all of you."

-Looks at Sue- "You won't need to. If i try betraying you, I'm dead. Because then not only do I not have anyway to keep myself safe, everywhere I go everyone could be after me. And let's face it here, if I go turn myself in, I'm going to be executed. I could say being loyal would be in my own interest but being honest I do really just want to make the world a better place with people without ones like who I was before I have to do that. Otherwise..."

-Closes his eyes and shakes his head- "Otherwise every night those same accusing pale dying faces will just keep staring at me and asking me "Why?", and I won't have an answer. Now if I do make the world a brighter place, I can tell them "So that I could learn why not."."
