Morgan: And I'm nowhere near tough enough to fight bad guys like Jason is. Wait...did you say you became a Misdreavus? Are you someone who can take a Pokemon form like Jason?

-she shifts to sit up more-

Anyways... essentially, this all started back in Orre, when I was Shadowed. I was... well, a jerk. I beat up a bunch of scientists for fun, or to get information or something from them. I beat on one in particular so I could use his Abra to teleport me around.

-she sighs-

He... held a grudge. He knew about my Sneasel thing from Cipher, so he found my family, and kidnapped them. He wanted to ruin my reputation and make everyone hate me, pretty much. So he threatened to kill my family unless I did everything he wanted. Fortunately he didn't make me really hurt anyone, but... it was rough. Well, a little while ago, I tried to hide from him by getting Straw to recall me. He... didn't like that.

-she pauses-

He brought Straw to his house and made him release me... then he tried to kill Straw. By some miracle, I made my shields solid for the first time, so no one died... and my Xatu friend brought in a bunch of J-Team members. We beat him up and I guess he went to jail. I'm not totally sure, I... kinda passed out. I sorta overdid it with the Obscura.

-she leans back-

So I've been here since. I didn't die, thanks to the Auric Avenger, but... it was close. Aura drain is pretty nasty. But hospitals suck, for serious.

-Ren nods as Crow leaves to finish finagling with his fowl friends, then turns to see Psyche.-

Ren: -to Psyche- Good you're here. Can I ask if you or your mon have learned anything about the island or base itself?

You should get a ball anyway. Just get someone you trust to catch you. Better safe than sorry, right? Getting caught by a Trainer can lead to all sorts of crazy complications. I got caught by a Team Acqua member once. That was awkward.
