-Two familiar costumed vigilantes are perched on the roof of the Dusk Factory, Shrike circling the area at a low altitude and keeping an eye out for anyone who might be out to accost them.-

Gaia: ...Any reason you have elected to have us reconvene so soon after our last meeting? There does not appear to be any threat or other such matter that requires addressing immediately.

The Auric Avenger: Well, I happened to pick up a couple of tidbits of information since the last time we were out on patrol, and I'd rather discuss them in person than over a comms line.

Gaia: Very well then. What happens to be our first order of business?

The Auric Avenger: Well, to start off with, you remember that Shingeko guy we heard about? Well, if we're not the only people crazy-

Foxglove: <I prefer the term "mentally unique", for future reference.>

The Auric Avenger: ...Okay then. As I was saying, if we're not the only ones mentally unique enough to dress up like Pokemon and go out at night to fight crime, then I want to see if we can rope anybody else with the same idea into working with us.

Gaia: ...Why, exactly?

The Auric Avenger: Because I figure we're going to need some help if we want to make this thing work properly. Besides, the more superheroes the better, right?

Gaia: I disagree. Any imitator of our methods is unlikely to have put as much time, forethought and preparation into the idea as we did. They are also under no obligation to abide by our rules. Not to mention that there is no discounting the possibility that they may be a plant of some description, an agent from Neo-Galactic or Illusion ordered to pose as a costumed vigilante in an attempt to gain our trust.

The Auric Avenger: ...Point. I still say this Shingeko guy's worth meeting, though.

Gaia: If only to dissuade him from further heroics.

The Auric Avenger: We'll see. From what I've heard, he's quite the glory hound, so I reckon we'll run into him soon enough. Anyway, onto number two. Turns out that the machine we wrecked last night was some kind of emotion-amplifying device set up by Illusion, and there's more of them around the place.

Gaia: ...I see. I suppose that would explain some of the eccentricities that Kaylee has been demonstrating today.

Kaylee: <I just... I love everybody so much, you know? They're just so unique and wonderful...>

The Auric Avenger: ...Come to think of it, that does explain a lot. But more to the point, I say our top priority should be taking out as many of these machines as we can. It'll help send a message to Illusion, and hopefully make people around here a little bit less stressed and a little bit more well-inclined towards us. Of course, this job would be much easier if we had some help...

Gaia: Foxglove is the only help I will need. You are welcome to continue your efforts at recruitment, but please bear in mind my earlier warnings. Now then, if that is all you wished to discuss, I have members of the Illusion Project to be tracking down.

-She clambers onto Foxglove's back.-

Gaia: Oh, and do be more careful when it comes to disclosing hints about your identity in future. After everything you told Verax, I would not be surprised if you find press teams at your door at some point in the near future.

The Auric Avenger: ...Noted. I'll try to keep a lower profile, then. Insofar as a guy in a purple Lucario costume can keep a low profile.

Gaia: Excellent. Then I shall be off.

-She takes off and starts flying over the city. After a moment, the Avenger sighs, then starts patrolling across the rooftops, doing his best to keep an eye out for suspicious activity whilst remaining unseen himself.-

Jason:(thinking) Wha...? I'm...moving?

-Without opening his eyes, Jason begins to see some large mass in front of him.-

Is that...Aura? Urk! It's back! ...Maybe...I'll feel better...if I absorb it...just a little...

-From his spot, Jason's hands begin to give off sparks. Duke may feel something being drained from him.-

-Diane follows the two, her mind elsewhere. She snaps back into reality upon noticing the sparks.-

Diane: ...Um... Jason...?

As far as he can see, almost a total darkness surrounds him, with only few brigher spots.

Eridanus: It's so dark here... What is it this place?

???: From what I know... We appear to be located somewhere in the outer space, within a gravity well of a main sequence star.

Eridanus then turned out around to see something strange.

Al: What I can tell? I arrived here because I suspected Eri might need me.

Fox: <Hey. Can go easy if you want. From what I saw... Your Trainer isn't exactly a guy who battles, is he?>

-If said masked man decides to investigate, he'll notice the grass around a short, laughing Braixen is charred from electric attacks, as well as a the man in the nice suit who apparent had to jump out of harms way due to the dirt on him.-
