David makes a grunt of disapproval.

Constantin starts petting Cheng Shih, who purrs back in response. David, on the other hand, doesn’t look so enthused at Cheng Shih going on a mission with Constantin.

David: ~Just what kind of mission are you going on?~

Constantin: A general reconnaissance mission, nothing too drastic or dangerous. And most certainly nothing Cheng Shih here hasn’t helped with in the past

Cheng Shih opens one eye and giggles, bringing her paws up to her cheeks.

Cheng Shih: <After all, who can resist and absolutely adorable Mienshao Papa Davy~ >:3c>

David: …

The soft sound of a teleport can be heard in the room as a Gallade walks up to his trainer, armblades folded.

Constantin: Ah, Shaka! How pleasant of you to arriv-

Shaka: ~Cut the crap Constantin and just tell me what you want.~

Constantin face falls flat as he makes a small huffing sound, his Gallade glaring back at him.

Constantin: How curt. Were you not one of my oldest and closest companions, I would have you disciplined for speaking out of line like that. But I’ll let that pass for now.

Shaka: …

Constantin hands Shaka the cards he was given.

Constantin: I want you to analyse these cards for me, see if you can pick up any imprints, hidden details or clues regarding the "mission"

Shaka: ~And when I have an idea, teleport you to a location where we could do a little digging?

Constantin: Indeed. You know me too well Shaka.

Shaka: ~It’s been 19 years sir. For better or for worse.~

Constantin and Shaka stare at each-other silently, before Shaka breaks the gaze by closing his eyes as he teleports the cards away

Shaka: ~I’ll get back to you around 4am. Then we leave for the destination I see best fits. Best if you get some rest.~

Constantin: Agreed.

Constantin gestures with his hand.

Constantin: You are dismissed.

With that, Shaka teleports away ASAP. Constantin stares at the now empty hallway and makes a hmph sound again. He recalls David and Cheng Shih and makes his way back to his living quarters. When he arrives, he examines the door and the rather grimy and forgotten hallway leading up to it.

Constantin: You know, there used a be a sign on that door that said “Cleaning Supplies” before it became my living quarters. Such is Life, I guess.

And with that he opens the door and unceremoniously crashes on the bed, falling to sleep in a near instant.

<Also, It's about time I got a proper name in the dialogue prompts!>

-Ren and co are still staring blankly at Keys.-

Keys: <Well If you are just going to sit there...>

-One of Ren's empty Fast Balls falls through of the air and lands on Keys, promptly drawing him into the ball.-

-The ball clicks as soon as it closes.-

HAX!Critical Capture! Ren caught Keys!

-As soon as Keys has been registered to Ren, Keys lets himself out of the ball.-

-Ren and company are still stare agape at Keys-

Ren: -finally snapping out of his stupor- But... How did... I didn't... What happened?

Keys: -straightly- <I'm a key. I used the back door.>

Ren: But that doesn't explain anything!
