Robin felt Duosion's Pokeball shake. He let him out of his ball, to see his body surrounded by a mysterious aura, and his eyes glowing,

Duosion: We are one at last...No...We have...Always been the same...

Robin: What the-

Duosion let out a blast of psychic energy; bombarding everything surrounding him, turning said area into a crater. Thankfully, only Robin was present at the time, so no one important got hurt.

Reuniclus: "One...One...Uh, what?''

Ow, my heads hurt...Wait...It's just one! Just one head! Sir, look, it's just one head! And arms! Look at these guns, this is just great! Sweet! Awesome! Seriously, you have to see-"

Ren: Now lets get the Battle Rounds underway! Lets see the Match-ups for the first round!

-The screen above Ren shows that Joseph, Mimmy, Crewe, and Hycainthus face one of the other four finalists in the first round of battle-

Factory, a few nights ago

Ren: Anyone need a lift?

So I've decided to try to put a whole bunch of things I've forgotten to write into one post, and end with a new idea I pretty much came up with on the spot. I'm not exactly sure how long this will end up. But it might be very lengthy to the point that it is impossible to read. It's probably going to be full of typos, too. But it might not be. I haven't written it yet. So yeah! Here we go!

Santalune Forest, shortly after Lanie's battle at Santalune Gym

-Lanie and Tourmaline are walking through the forest.-

Lanie: All right, Tourmaline! We're going to find a Scatterbug, because Vivillon are the CUTEST THINGS EVEEER!

Tourmaline: <'Ey! Look 'ver there! Is that one?>

-Lanie looks to see what Tourmaline is looking at. There is indeed a Scatterbug there.-

Lanie: YES! Yes it is!

-She runs towards the Scatterbug.-

Lanie: Hello, little guy!

Tourmaline: <'Ello!>

-The Scatterbug doesn't respond for a while.-

Lanie: Er...

-The Scatterbug turns its head towards Lanie.-

Scatterbug: <Hello, person. Hello, icy thing.>

Lanie: Hello.

Tourmaline: <Hi!> :D

-Lanie throws a Poké Ball at the Scatterbug.-

Wobble...

Click!

-She sends the Scatterbug back out.-

Lanie: So, little guy, what do you want to be called?

-The Scatterbug is silent.-

Lanie: ...Eh...

Scatterbug: <...Ealsh.>

Lanie: ...Ealsh...?

Tourmaline: <I love it! That's a really pretty name!>

Lanie: Ah, right, then. Ealsh it is!

Tourmaline: <Yay!>

Ealsh: <Yay.>

Santalune Forest, later that night

-Ealsh is running around in circles. Lanie had been sleeping, but Ealsh has woken her up.-

Ealsh: <Nightnightnightnight, I love the night~!>

-Lanie yawns.-

Lanie: Huh...?

Ealsh: <Isn't it great? The stars. The moon. THE EVERYTHING! Night is wonderful!>

Lanie: Ah... yeah...

Ealsh: <That's why I take naps all the time during the day! I don't want to miss a second of the niiiiiiiight~!>

-He continues running in circles and talking about night as Lanie tries to fall back asleep.-

Route 22, the next day

-Lanie has been training with Ealsh for a while.-

Lanie: That's strange... don't Scatterbug usually evolve faster than this...?

Ealsh: <...I won't evolve unless it's night. The moon will grant me its power.>

Lanie: Er... right...

Route 6, not too many days after the previous section

-Lanie is walking back from visiting Parfum Palace when she notices that an Oddish is following her. She turns around and kneels down, looking at the Oddish.-

Oddish: <Hello!>

Lanie: Hi!

-The Oddish stares, wide-eyed.-

Oddish: <You're the first person all day to reply! That's awesome!>

Lanie: Huh? Ah, right, most people don't...

Oddish: <I'll keep following you, then! My adventure will continue!>

Lanie: Hang on...

-She throws a Poké Ball at the Oddish.-

Wobble...

Wobble...

Wobble...

Click!

-She lets the Oddish out.-

Oddish: <Hi again!>

Lanie: ...Hm... How does the name Misery sound?

Oddish: <Hmm...>

Lanie: Come to think of it, there's already a Misery, and that name isn't remotely fitting, anyw—

Misery: <No! That name is perfect! Do not change it, please!>

Lanie: Oh. Okay, then, Misery!

-She smiles. Misery smiles back.-

Misery: <Yay! Let's go!>

-She starts walking behind Lanie again.-

Route 7, later that same day

-Lanie is battling a Ducklett with Misery. The Ducklett is very weak-looking.-

Misery: <Aw, poor ducky... Here! I'll make it feel better!>

-Misery uses Absorb on the Ducklett, which faints.-

Lanie: You did it! Yay, Misery!

-Lanie's smile fades.-

Lanie: Y'know, out of context, that would've sounded...

-Misery sadly looks at the fainted Ducklett.-

Misery: <Aw, poor ducky... you fainted before I could heal you...>

Cyllage City, several days later

-Misery is leaving the Pokémon Center when she notices Ealsh.-

Misery: <Hello, Ealsh!>

-Ealsh says nothing.-

Misery: <Do you want to go on an adventure with me?>

Ealsh: <...An adventure?>

Misery: <Yeah! Come on, it'll be fun!>

-Ealsh says nothing.-

Misery: <Ah... I'm—>

Ealsh: <Sure.>

Misery: <Yay!>

-She leaves the building, and Ealsh follows.-

Ealsh: <...So, where are we going?>

Misery: <Hm... For today's adventure... I think I'm going to take three circles around the whole city.>

Ealsh: <Oh?>

Misery: <Yeah! I can't wait! I wonder what'll happen! This will be fun!>

-The two walk off to take three laps around the city.-

Coumarine Gym, fairly recently.

-Moonlight shines into the Gym. Ramos has only a Gogoat left. Lanie has sent Ealsh out.-

Lanie: You can do it, Ealsh! Bug Bite!

-Ealsh bites the Gogoat, which faints.-

Ealsh: <The night's poweeeeerrrr~!>

-He begins to glow.-

Lanie: Oh!

-When the light fades, he is a Spewpa.-

Ealsh: <See, I told you the moon would help!>

Lanie: Yeah, you did... I didn't believe that would actually work, though...

Ramos: Well, yeh believe in yer Pokémon... And they believe in yeh, too... Mighty oaks from acorns grow. Go on, then. Yeh've earned it. Here's yer own Plant Badge, sprout.

-He hands Lanie a Plant Badge. She takes it.-

Ramos: Here—have this, too. Might as well make hay while the sun shines, I reckon.

-He holds out a TM. Lanie takes it, too.-

Ramos: That TM there is for Grass Knot. Yeh can use it to trip yer opponents up in the grass. The heavier the opponent, the harder it'll fall—and the more it'll hurt.

Lanie: Thank you very much. Have a nice day!

-She waves goodbye and leaves the Gym.-

Lumiose City, a few nights ago

-Misery is sleeping. Ealsh, awake as usual, nudges her. She opens her eyes and yawns.-

Misery: <Hello, Ealsh.>

Ealsh: <Hey, Misery... Do you want to go on... an adventure?>

-Misery jumps to her feet and smiles.-

Misery: <Of course! Where to?>

Ealsh: <You'll see. Just follow me!>

-The two of them leave the building and start walking through the city. The walk through a gate to exit the city.-

Misery: <Oh? We're leaving?>

Ealsh: <There's too much light in a city at night. We're going somewhere else.>

-They walk a while more, and end up on a hill.-

Ealsh: <Here we are.>

Misery: <Ooh, I know of a hill that's closer to the city! It's even taller, too! Here, I'll show—>

Ealsh: <No, not just the hill! Look up!>

-Misery looks up, and sees the glistening night sky.-

Misery: <...Wow...>

-Misery lies down on her back.-

Misery: <It's beautiful...>

Ealsh: <I wanted to show you why I love the night so much. I thought this would be a good way to do that.>

Misery: <Yeah... It's... amazing...>

-The two watch the stars together for a while more. When Misery falls asleep again, Ealsh picks her up and carries her back to the city.-

Lumiose City, yesterday

-Zeal is walking through the city when he sees Lanie.-

Zeal: Oh! Hey, Mel! There you are!

-Zeal runs towards Lanie.-

Lanie: Huh? Oh, Chary! Hi!

Zeal: Alright, this is going to sound insane... But could you lend me Ealsh and Misery?

Lanie: Huh?

Zeal: In return, I'm lending you all of my mons aside from Dento and Waffles.

Lanie: ...You're right, this does sound insane.

Zeal: Okay, I had this random idea and now my mind is set! I'm on fire right now! ...Er... Not literally, of course.

Lanie: ...You're still acting less sane than usual...

Zeal: Right, well... You know how I said you could take on the League with my mons and such? I want to lend them to you so you can be with them all the time. And I... I've decided to challenge the League, too. But with a team of mons that I've caught in Kalos.

-He looks up.-

Zeal: Well...

-He looks at Lanie again.-

Zeal: Two of them would've been caught by you, if you agree.

Lanie: Sure.

Zeal: Really? Great! I—

Lanie: ...On one condition.

Zeal: ...That condition is?

Lanie: After we both have eight badges, the two of us have a battle. Only the winner challenges the Elite Four.

-Zeal grins.-

Zeal: It's a deal. Don't worry! I won't make things too easy for you!

-The two of them exchange Poké Balls, and Zeal confidently walks off. Lanie smiles.-

Lumiose City

Robin: ...And that's what happened. He really didn't mean it, I swear. And nurse said it was about as bad as a few solid punches to the gut, so I'll be fine, after a day's rest.

Reuniclus: I didn't know what would happen. I'm sorry...Really

Volcarona: I'm sorry for snapping earlier, it's just, I didn't want-

Robin: I'll...Be fine. Have a little faith.

Volcarona: ...You take such good care of us, so...Why...Don't you take good care of yourself, for once? You're always pushing yourself, beyond reason...Yet, you jump in, to shield us from the mere breeze of the wind...It all gets annoying, you know?! Why...Why won't you stop hurting yourself? We don't know what we'd do wtihout you...I wouldn't...

Parfum Palace, yesterday

-both Joseph and Mimmy beat their opponents handily, and are awaiting the semifinals-

Mimmy: -giggle- I can't wait!

-Joseph thinks about Mimmy-

This girl...she seems...strange.

Hyacinthus sweeps his opponent handily. Titania nods. ~'Twas a Foregone Conclusion~

Lumiose City

-The Medicham throws a shell at Vierr, who easily spins out of the way.-

Vierr: Come on, try a bit harder. Kunai aren't going to be that slow.

-Jeannie nods, picking up another shell-

-Vierr spins out of the way again-

Vierr: Better.

-He dodges a third shell. Jeannie picks up a fourth one.-

Jeannie: <What's with all the spinning?>

Vierr: ...You know, I'm not entirely sure.

-Jeannie throws the fourth shell. As Vierr spins, he catches it and uses the momentum to throw it back-

Vierr: It works, though.

Jeannie: <Maybe it's an Inkay thing.>

-Another throw, another catch, another spin, another return throw.-

Vierr: Maybe. I guess being a squid isn't such a bad thing after all.

-Jeannie throws again. Vierr dodges.-

Jeannie: <Wouldn't it help to do some actual Obscura training, though?>

Vierr: ...I guess. Throw another.

-Vierr focuses as Jeannie throws another shell. As he moves out of the way, he swipes his hand in the shell's path, creating a long, thin barrier that shatters upon impact, but deflects the shell.-

Vierr: Remind me to thank Crewe for this.

-He wipes a bit of sweat that wasn't there until he made the barrier, and continues.-
