Zeal: Let's see... getting Titan as a witness would be impossible, right? Do you think we could get a chance to talk to O'Sullivan before the next part of the trial? Maybe we can use a piece of Deimos' history against him or something. Nah, that wouldn't... well... maybe... Well, it's worth a try, anyway.

Jacob: "Actually, it might. Considering to win this we pretty much have to prove Deimos initiated this. If we can make that seem more likely, we have a better chance of comming out of this on top. Investigator O'Sullivan might be worth our time talking to."

Zeal: I'll keep that in mind. You mentioned Finn and Duke by name, but was anyone else involved with the incident? I know I only saw the end result.

-The explosion breaks the stalactite just like before, but this time Mezzo and Eskay are far enough from it that the most that happens to them is, they get shaken up a lot.-

Eskay: All right, I guess we're going down...

Jacob: "Well... hm... Oh yeah! Eskay's dad was also involved. He handled Deimos' official arrest... I wonder if we could get his help with this... he could be a powerful voice for your case."

"Also several of Edge's Pawniard, so if you want, you could head up to Challenger's Cave and see if one of them might be willing to give you some information. Other than that, it was just Duke, Finn, me and my Pokémon."

-Sho and Kasaiko nor their opponents can get the upper hand. Kasaiko can't hit the Lairon, nor can it hit Kasaiko. The Lairon's byproducts of Lairon's moves slows Sho's actions so he can't get a hit in, nor can his opponent due to Sho's defense. However, three sparring matches worth of fatigue and his age are starting to show their effects on Sho.-

Sho: -in though- (We've got to take them both out at the same time...let's what I got: My items, my skill, the clothes I'm wearing... That's it.) -out loud- Kasaiko, focus on dodging! I got a plan!

-Sho kicks PGCG #4 in the gut when he's presented an opening. while PGCG #4 coughs an sputters back to his feet the Lairon runs to defend his partner. However Sho just jumps backwards and closes his coat over him self-

Sho: Kasaiko! Behind me! Trust me and use Fire Blast as soon as he moves in front of his Lairon!

-Sho rushes forward, aim for one of the holes in the Laiorn's armor.-

-PGCG #4 jumps in front of the Lairon to block Sho's attack as Kasaiko does as she was told-

Kasaiko: <I hope you know what your doing...>

-Kasaiko exhales an enormous ball of fire that heads right for the group in front of her.-

Zeal: Then let's go to Challenger's Cave. I wonder if I'd be able to get us a police escort...

Jacob: "Saddly, you'll be on your own for anything out of Nimbasa. I'm given free reign within city limits, but I'm not permitted to leave."

"I do have a nice hotel room to stay at, though. So it's far from unpleasant."

-Mezzo starts climbing down toward the fallen stalactite-

Zeal: I see... I'm not allowed to leave the city without Mr. Shane. He's the police officer who followed me into the courtroom. Speaking of which, where is he?

-He follows Mezzo down-

Jacob: "He probably left. Considering your release was streamlined by interpol, after you proved your, well, relative sanity defending me they may have let you off. I don't know otherwise, though."

Zeal: I see... Then maybe it'd be best to wait until we meet with O'Sullivan.

Jacob: "We should probably do so as early as we can. We need as much information as we can get as fast as possible."

Beat

"You know, if we win this, we could start a law firm, if we ever get done with all the other things we have to tie up, first. I mean, we can't just battle forever and I you're not too bad at this."

Beat

"I can't believe I just suggested that. Me? Stop battling? Anyways, you have a point. Anything else we could go over?"

Zeal: Well... -pats his violin case- It'd probably be smart to get a real briefcase.

Jacob: -Laughs- "You do that. I think I'll go over what I know. I'll be at in my suite if you need me."

-Begins leaving, but turns around-

"And... for whatever it's worth, thanks. I know I haven't been the greatest friend but... thanks." -He walks off-

-PGCG #4 freaks out at the giant fire ball and rolls out of the way. Sho staved his attack on the Lairon and faces PGCG #4 with arms covering his face. Kasaiko and PGCG #4 watch as the Fire Blast's explosion engulfs Sho and the Lairon. Through the smoke one can hear the thud and heavy breathing of Lairon falling unconscious but no signs of life from Sho-

Kasaiko: -horrified- <Shokaki!>

PGCG #4: -shocked at what just happened- The fool! Why didn't he dodge?

-As PGCG #4 moves to fetch his weapon it is suddenly kicked out of his reach and a sword is at PGCG #4's neck. The sword is held by a man in fairly undamaged, but smoking hooded coat-

Sho: Why I didn't dodge? Because I didn't need to, that's why. Now, do you yield?

PGCG #4: -hold his hands up in surrender- But how?

Sho: -sheathing his sword- My clothes are made from fabric spun from the hairs of Vulpix and Nintales. They can easily stand up to a Fire Blast or two, but will eventually burn. However, I just needed them to endure one Fire Blast. I just had to cover my face. Then I used the resulting smoke to cover my movements towards you, and you were none the wiser. But thank you for showing me how to use the resulting effects of my partner's moves to my advantage in this battle. I've learned a lot from it.

-Sho helps PGCG #4 to his feet and turns to start administering curatives to the mon that where injured during the sparring sessions-
