Jacob: "First let's settle something here, if he has absolutley no recolection of trying to attack me, or even obtaining the gun he had, what would that say to you?"

Jab: <Alright.> -quietly slips in-

-the two find themselves in a room with a sleeping Raichu. Oddly, the Raichu is a pale green, and its ears are leaflike-

-Crewe slips in after him, leaving the hatch open. She blinks at the Raichu-

<Should we wake him up and ask him what happened? He might just be a normal Delta.>

Jacob: "Well he shouldn't have any recollection of trying to attack me yesterday, and he's not an amnesiac."

-Thinks- "Okay here's the problem I see forming. I'm still going to use him as my lawyer. I get the feeling you don't want to let that happen."

Psyche: The gist of the message was that Lina would offer an alliance to anyone that helped her take back the territories captured by Nixtorm.

-O'Sullivan sighs.-

O'Sullivan: Look, I'm going to be straight with you. I couldn't give a Rattata's right testicle about who you choose as your lawyer. If you ask me this entire case is a waste of everyone's time. But I'm not the one who gets to decide these things. That's the court's job, and at the moment the court says you can't have him as your lawyer since it's rather difficult for him to defend you against criminal charges when he himself is facing criminal charges. I'm just the guy who has to deal with all the paperwork afterwards.

Jacob: "You're INTERPOL. Why are you even bothering with this?"

O'Sullivan: You think I want to be here? I didn't choose to get demoted, you know. The only reason I'm attached to this case in the first place is because Deimos is involved, and of course since my brother's family lived in the same town as Deimos' boss I'm Interpol's go-to fall guy. I swear, at this point they're just looking for an excuse to get rid of me. But this is besides the point. What exactly are you trying to tell me?

Jacob: "Hmph. Well then. What I'm trying to tell you is that event last night was entirely my fault because I made a stupid choice and someone who is not Zeal used him to attack me in response. Deimos is also responsible, or connected to the person responsible, for inflicting sever injuries on him months ago. Now I'd like to move on with my life, and I doubt you care who does what. I'm not letting him take the fall for a mistake I made. And this trial is already stacked against me. Deimos pulls a knife on me and I react in self defense and what happens? He's already cleared of all charges and I'm the one taking the fall. Do you really have the time to look at every little thing that happens here, or do you want results? That's what I'm trying to say."

-Sabaku reads through Lina's message. His grip becomes iron, and he goes over to his own desk and begins writing.-

O'Sullivan: ...I like the cut of your jib. Fair enough, I'll see if I can pull some strings to get this ridiculous excuse for a trial over with as soon as possible. And if that means getting your trigger-happy friend out of the cells, then I'm willing to oblige.

Jacob: -Grins- "Excellent. He may need a little time to prepare and get oriented, so I'm going to see what I have to do."
