.... When did the update come out? As far as I know, with most large updates, it takes a while to download them the closer to the release of it, because everyone is trying to get it at the same time...
It only took a litlle less than 20 minutes for me to download the update. What was so bad about that?
Your connection probably crapped out or yes, the servers were busy, when I first got my PS 3 it took me multiple tries to get all the updates, don't blame a company for your own problems or things they can't control.

I've never jailbroken my system and this thing refuses to download. What the hell, Sony?!
