That is a wolf... Carrying a bigass sword in its mouth. Okay we're fucked
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I was expecting a Jump Scare on that scene on the bridge zooming in on that arc throughout the trailer.
Also this. The wolf wielding the sword somehow scare's me more than the multi-million teeth thing O_o
But I'm sure the developer will give me a reason to be equally scared of both.
Also, kickass music there.

Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.And I'm sure they'll give me a new previously-innocent sound to be terrified of.
I still jump at the sound of a crystal bell. Still. The "Oh fuck" response is that ingrained.

i. hear. a. sound.I think I'm gonna go knight again, but perhaps with a self-imposed challenge.
In DS, I ended up with the compound longbow, which is a good weapon but rather unknightly. To a medieval knight, fighting at distance is dishonourable, dishonourable I say! So no ranged weapons for me. Although the sting is taken out a bit this time, because the penalty for dying isn't so severe.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchWhat is the penalty for Dying in Dark Souls?
IN demons souls it really wasn't that bad imho. Just annoying.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. As far as I know, you just lose your cashbux.
The whole "half health" thing was pretty devestating in DS, in my opinion. Luckily, I actually stayed alive for most of the game, cutting my deaths down because I had full health most of the time. And I collected a sizable amount of revive stones, too.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchI actually prefered staying in soul form for most of the game because I didn't like the "Die while you're 'alive' and the game becomes even harder" part nor did I like the "Lol invaded" part. I actually committed suicide in the nexus to avoid dying in one of the world lol.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic. Also, in Soul Form, you want the Cling Ring on at all times. While living, you have both ring slots free. Thief's Ring plus Health Regen Ring equals asskicking and tactical play in equal measure.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchSee, I also found a way around that by my third run, I was always on "Hyper-mode" with my mage. So I had so little health that with or without the health ring, I would be OHK'd anyway, so I instead put all my effort in offence and evasion. (of course, I always had that second-chance miracle on in case of sneak attack.)
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.You crazy, like coconut!
My main character was all about resilience. Not surprising, given I played a knight.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchHeh, that was more of my bro's style. Must be great to know you can take a few hits and keep on going.
On a funny side note, my bro once tried to do a run with two tower shield. Didn't work out too well, but it was hilarious.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.The tower shield is an excellent defense... Against blockable attacks. Otherwise its a heavy load.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. There hasn't been a game so gleeful of killing you since Dungeons of Dredmor.
Jonah FalconI found it amusing that the trailer showed what I think is the PC languishing in a dungeon in full plate armor. Can't wait to see the lead-up in the actual game.
Well, it is a bitch to get off, y'know?

I played Demon's Souls for the first time today.
I preordered Dark Souls about an hour later.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI pre-ordered it Monday. Cost 64-something dollars, but I think it'll be worth it.
How was it?
Badass trailer incoming.
