In The Divine Comedy, God is represented as three interlocking rings of light. Perhaps a similar pattern could be the birthmark of his daughter.

To keep with both The Divine Comedy the Rule of Three consider that Satan is represented as having three mouths. This could perhaps be represented as an almost identical symbol to the daughter of God's but these ring's inner-edges would be rigid as if to suggest teeth inside a mouth.

So any thoughts on stuff that could indicate that they are using their power?

So ways their reality warping abilities could be slightly different? And Josie has a fang and Tariq has a lizard tail, stuff they could do with them?

For the girl, a birthmark in tge shape of a fish: sort of the infinity sign with half the right or left hand side cut off. Simple, but effective.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you are probably right.

Oh yeah, the fish sign! I'd forgotten about that as a symbol of Christianity.

Is the God in this story mainly Christian, or all abrahamic religions?

Be not afraid...

Well he inspired Judaism, Christianty, Islam and other abrahamic faiths but he's not exactly like how he's presented by those faiths.

A * for Tariq and a + for Josie.

Or for Tariq: O+

It's based on the names. Josie is short for Josephine which is Hebrew for "God will add". Thus, the addition sign.

Meanwhile, Tariq is Arabic for "morning star", thus the asterix. The planet Venus is also known as the "morning star" and the astrological symbol is something like O+ like the feminine sign.

The names make sense in this context. Lucifer can be translated from the Latin for morning star, which appears in Isaiah 14:12. That seems to refer to a Babylonian king, but mentions a fall from heaven and being cast down to earth.

Since Tariq has a long prehensile tail what do you think would be fitting beast for it to be based of?
