BudZer is a troper who has spent far too much time theorizing how to go about making a troper page about himself. He loves to read tropes, but is finicky when it comes to the edit button. As such, he has not edited very many tropes and has launched none despite visiting the site for almost a year (in his defense, he did not have an account for many of those months). He instead prefers to stick around (read: lurk) the forums.
As someone who hopes to someday make a career out of writing, BudZer frequents the Writer's Block forum when he should be doing something along the lines of actually sitting down and writing. He also likes to procrastinate by "World Building" and thus visits that forum almost as often. He also frequents the Literature forum seeing as it's his favorite medium of story telling (snobbery goes here).
Oh, and this site hates my username it's BudZer not Budzer or Bud Zer.

Folk Lore
- Celtic Mythology: For the motherland!
- Classical Mythology: When I was eight years old, my father told me the story of the Trojan war and I was infatuated immediately. I went on to read Edith Hamilton's Mythology at the age of nine and become thoroughly obsessed with everything the mythology had to offer. Due to the Roman influences in the fantasy novels I'm writing, this love has resurfaced.
- Norse Mythology: For the awesome!
Literature
- Harry Potter: This is pretty much a requirement.
- The Dresden Files: Jim Butcher is my idol.
- The Codex Alera: No, seriously. I want to be Jim Butcher when I grow up.
- The Lord of the Rings: I find the only way to get through this behemoth is to love it. Tolkien too is an idol of mine, not for the elves and dwarves like a someone who will go unnamed, but for his inspirations and love of his creation.
- The Divine Comedy: Hell is always fun.
- The Brothers Karamazov: what.
- Ender's Game: I love the accurate portrayal of children as assholes.
- Animal Farm: Though, surprisingly, I hated 1984.
- On Writing: I'll take bits of it with a grain of salt (I for one am quite a fan of plot, for example), but it was all together an insightful read.
- The Glass Castle: Made me cry like a schoolgirl.
- In Cold Blood: One of the few books I have stayed up all night reading.
- Team of Rivals: William Henry Seward, awww yeah.
- Lord of the Flies: My favorite book that I've never read.
- The Catcher in the Rye: The book I'm most glad that I never had to read for school, but read for personal enjoyment.
- The Screwtape Letters: Even for an atheist, I find the book to be enlightening.
- The Chronicles of Narnia: If only Aslan could be a ninja.
