This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

The Blood Hunt variant cover, I assume. Marvel's latest big Crisis Crossover.
Time for date night.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Even vampire Pete is a step up from Paul.
Marvel after seeing this comment: Let's make Paul a vampire! It worked when we did that to Jubilee, right?
Instructions unclear. It's now Paulin' time.
I mean, isn’t Paul hanging out with Black Cat and MJ?

It sure is funny in the right framing.
But otherwise it's another indicator of how disorganized the symbiote lore is right now.
#IceBearForPresidentAll probably because Gronbekk wanted to write Natasha and forced her into the Venom book.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think it's cool tbh. Although Black Widow keeps getting handed hand-me-downs from other heroes. I mean she recently had the War Widow armor from Iron Man recently. I'm expecting both of these to be spun off into new characters like Black Cat and Iron Cat soon enough.
It's gonna be fun on the bun! Will she get her own throwable shield one of these days? Or Asgardian weapons?
Wake me up at your own risk.I mean everyone got Asgardian Weapons in Fear Itself.

Do the symbiotes even mentally affect their host anymore?

… Huh.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe GREEN GOBLIN giving Spider-Man the great responsibility speech has to be one of the best irony moments this series has, I can't stop laughing.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.x4 Symbiotes can absolutely still affect their hosts emotions and thoughts. It's even been established to go both ways, with the hosts' emotions affecting the symbiote as well. This is even a plot point in both the Cates and Ewing runs; the former reveals the symbiote has been actively meddling in Eddie's memories to try and keep him from leaving it, all the way down to tricking him into thinking he has cancer, while the latter has Meridius' plan involve causing mental problems for Dylan knowing it will darken the symbiote's personality by extension.
Huh, well good to know. That's one thing from the cartoon that the comics should keep.

Kafka was going to use the winkler device to turn Ben into another Goblin lackey, but Peter intervenes and gets a win over Queenie. Finally at peace with himself, Ben tells Janine the winkler machine gave him a scary vision that spells trouble for Spidey. Meanwhile, the Sinister Six plot to destroy the Living Brain.
In the letters pages, Nick Lowe reveals JR Jr is currently at work on the definite climax to Peter's feud with Tombstone, so it appears production on Zeb's run is almost at an end.

So uhhhhh…. Why is Queen Goblin still evil if Norman has his sins back?

That's my job, as an adult. This week's Spider-Man Unlimited puts Peter through a few more abrupt changes - including a brief glimpse of 1803 England - before revealing that it's Clash who's somehow obtained the reality warping and/or illusion powers.
Which fits with Preeti Chhibber's comment that she wanted to reuse a character who didn't, in her view, get the best treatment last time.
The last panel, with Peter outside the panels, hanging from a caption box is great. And a bit Deadpool in its style.
Probably the best thing of Chhibber's that I've read. Really liking this arc.
That's probably the most clever usage of Clash yet.
Who is Clash?
The Protomen enhanced my life.
Why is Spider-Man a vampire and biting MJ? Is this some kind of fetish thing?
