Also, the Toy line's been discontinued.
Probably because the showrunner's having a meltdown.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatCute episode and Mum ra wasted something that would have worked any other time. and I Love Lucy

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. So when nothing else works, try drug abuse. Even if you have to wipe out an endangered species of tree in order to do so.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Okay....well...this was a low point. I was expecting something a bit more...serious. Huh. Lots of goofy stuff in this one. Pumyra's puffy face, Tygra getting "high," probably as a call back to "The Garden of Delights" from the OS. And then we get what amounts to a parody of Godzilla vs. Mothra. Nice to see the Wallows, and that Ponzi guy was a minor character in the OS.
This episode was filler. Barely any development for any character, and like Lion-O said, at the end things were back to normal. The only thing that really stood out was some well animated fight scenes, and we get to see Lion-O do some moves from the original series' intro. But, just, guh, why did that have to use it for this waste of an episode?
And the relationship between Lion-O and Pumyra...eh, I was expecting better. I just read a fanfic that handled it a better and a lot more maturely. It was cute, and I guess the two of them were in character, kind of. I was expecting Lion-O to be a lot less eager considering what happened with Cheetara, but whatever. Pumyra kissing his cheek...feels like they're rushing it. I don't hate it though. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I really hope the last three episodes turn out good, I really do.
EDIT:
Okay, second viewing was better than the first, now that I knew what to expect. It really is just a very light, fun episode. I didn't like Pumyra's puffy face or the wacky face on that one guy, but at least that was just early on. The structure was actually pretty solid, and the animation during that fights was good.
I can kind of forgive Lion-O for using the love potion if he didn't know exactly how it worked. He probably thought it would just make Pumyra open up a little more. The dynamic is very different between them than it was with him and Cheetara. Lion-O feels like he actually has to earn Pumyra's affection, even if he doesn't know the best way to do it. And that at least is some kind of character development.
I sort of like Ponzi and Lucy. I was afraid he'd be kind of like Tookit or the Drifter, where they're these characters we're meant to find fun and whimsical, but it doesn't always work (I know one guy who really dislikes the drifter, and for reason I find pretty valid). Ponzi doesn't annoy me. He's got bad luck, and that makes him seem more human.
I am still kind of disappointed that it hasn't returned to being more serious after Kit and Kat's light fun adventure. This episode isn't bad, but it's just really average and doesn't have a lot going for it. It's not a very original episode either, but I have seen worse.
I think this is better than "Ramlak Rising," at least.

Got a link to that fic?
While the writing for the show varies between "adequate" and "sub-par" the art design is consistently pretty damn good. Lucy was amazing, for instance, and so are most characters in fact.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntNice to see an episode that continues the proud tradition of Tygra getting brain-washed. The Ponzi reference was obvious but I noticed Mumm-Ra mention Sycorax right at the start. Then there was the Godzilla/Mothra fight that was already mentioned, as was the part where Lion-O re-encating part of the original opening title sequence while dodging Dino-Ra's tail. Actually, this entire episode feels a lot like an episode of the original series. I could very easily picture the original series' writers coming up with exactly this. Mumm-Ra giving a long speech about how the Thundercats are doomed, transformation into something, yet most of the episode focussed on something else. In this case a snake oil salesman and the antics caused by his "remedies."

Here. It's by a troper.
I give it a C+, maybe a B-. Okay, but lacking in time and stumbles some in language. A good editor would have helped significantly.
"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."Dude that twenty second call out to the OS opening was the business.
Ok this episode was definitely a throwback to the old Thundercats Episodes...quite enjoyable
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92I just noticed something, but right when Mumm-Ra attacks the first time, you can see Lion-O grab Pumyra and jump away with her. He's so protective of her, even in the little details.
The latest episode was HIL-arious
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI still posit that every episode with Mummra could be improved by the simple expedient of replacing all of his dialogue with "Bitch, I'm evil!".

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. Those last three episodes were really good! Caught up just now.
I'm hoping there'll be at least one queer character among the main cast. Preferably Panthro. 89
And I hope like heavens not. Panthro doesn't play that. He has no time for romance.
Everybody knows the real power couple in the series is Lion Mum.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."x3 Well, I would've said one of the twins, but I doubt the writers are gonna give either of them someone to be shipped with. A kid-friendly couple in the series would be nice.
Why do people insist on making stupid comments? Can we as tropers have at least some sort of pride and not resort to the level of other forums?

Someone rear ended him and his car was totaled. I was asking cause someone on thunder cats.ws said he deserved a break from all this stuff on dA/people calling him out on the "anorexic ho" comment he made last WC cause of the posts, and mentioned the accident. I didn't think much of it (i looked it up later to find out what happened on his FB), and said he could at least afford a new car. Then i got called insensitive because he's been "traumatized" by the accident. But if he was traumatized, he would be in therapy and not commenting on so many things on the internet. When i lost the sight in my eye and was traumatized i went to therapy and didn't make an excuse out of what happened to me as justification for anything (which is what the poster is saying Dan has the right to do.)
