Which one didn't match?
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Hawk instead of a lizard for Slithe.
"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."ohh right thanks
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Someday, if this program gets a Japanese dub, Satomi Koorogi will most likely return as Snarf.
In effect, Snarf would be Togepi and Arnold (?!) in that language.
Magic people, voodoo people!I think the one with the head dress and snake ornaments is supposed to be a lizard though, and the hawk matches up with Vultureman, if he ever shows up, and he probably will.
I think a new Vultureman wouldn't be a general, but a scientist like he was in the old series, and maybe a traitor to his species like Grune was. The bird people look too civilized to follow Mumm-Ra

Unless buzzards are different then the birds we saw,
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. It seems that within some of the animal races there are sub groups, such as Tigers, so vultures are probably a sub group of the bird people. Another instance, Jackals seem to be a sub group of dogs; the first two dogs we see in Thundera are both relatively small compared to the cats. By contrast, the two jackals we've seen, the jackal leader Shen and Kaynar, tower over the cats.
I'm also betting that Tigersharks are a sub group as a fish race we haven't yet seen.

Ohh... a boar and a crocodile would be cool
.... what no Rat?
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I just checked another place i visit to see what they thought and now people on there are arguing how to "properly" raise a child because they think the Queen didn't do a good job of it and how to tell your children you're having another baby the right way. I'm not sure whether to feel annoyed or just confused.
Annoyed. But don't let it get you all down. Here, we seem to be having little or no trouble understanding and accepting Leomom.
"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."I just don't get why they, as moms (supposedly) think that Tygra has every right to act the way he has, say it's understandable, and yet they offer excuses for Tygra trying to kill Lion-o twice, by saying he was a child and didn't know what he was doing. It doesn't make sense to me.

Because there are reasons. Not good ones, but relateable ones. Lion-o is the living manifestation of the two great losses in Tygra's life, his mother and his title. A degree of resentment towards him is to be expected. Laying that on Leomom is where it turns odd.
"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."Most of the blame is on the Queen. Oh well, hopefully this'll blow over soon enough. The Triangle still hasn't.
Sad to say, but it's typical female character bashing that seems to happen in almost every fandom.
I mean, with Cheetara it was because of how she acted over the course of 13 episodes with Lion-o and Tygra, and the twist in 13, but this is just ridiculous. They're calling her a bad mom and saying it's her fault for how Tygra is, just because she didn't call him Prince one time, and they're ignoring Tygra's line that he wishes Lion-o hadn't been born because when Lion-o was born “That night I lost the two things I cherished most, my mother and my kingdom.”. And some of the biggest bashers are moms themselves, who proudly proclaim they would never "mess up" their kids the way "she did" when that scene happened. I wanted to add some of this to the Fan Dumb/YMMV/Fridge Logic pages but i haven't edited something in a while and i don't want backlash.

To be honest, I haven't really seen that much bashing though. There was a little of it on Thundercats Lair, but I and a couple of other posters managed to nip that in the bud over there, I think. Where are you seeing this going on? thundercats.ws?
Yes, there and tumblr too.
Is a three year old even old enough to understand the ramifications of being prince? Would he care that much about something that wouldn't have any real impact on his life until he was older? I can see Tygra being resentful as he got grew up, thinking he would be the better king and knowing he'd never wear the crown because of Lion-O, but at he age of three? Or five? Or however old he was?
Liveblog won't be updated before tomorow.
I agree. Tygra's line that he lost "The two things he cared about, his mom and his kingdom" that day is laughter inducing. He looks 2. I am sure he was filled with ideas and policies for the kingdom. Especially considering he probably barely ever left the palace at all and barely saw said kingdom.
The resolution of the episode felt VERY rushed. So the curse was to be lifted if Tygra learned of the evil deal and forgave his dad for saving his life? How's that an act of humility? Yeah, it's a good thing, but of the many virtues I'd use to explain it, humility is like last on the list.
Yeah. And don't 2 - 3 year olds not have very good memories at that age in the first place? I remember hearing about a study that the memories are mostly fake....
I didn't laugh so much as facepalm, it's not Lion-o's fault he was born, and given how she must have had trouble conceiving, her body was probably weak. He didn't even want to be King anyway, Jaga made him after Claudus died, but he's been shown to be better than Tygra, with his quick thinking and compassion. I wonder if we'll get to see the Queen in the Book and see how she reacts to Tygra's.....issues?
I, prince Tygra of the kingdom of Thundera do hereby decree the following:
1. From this day forth all vegemables are exiled from the kingdom.
3. All subjects are allowed to eat as much ice cream as they want and stay up past there bedtimes.
D. The royal gaurd is to patrol every bedroom in Thundera to ensure that there are no monsters living under the beds or in the closits.
D. Friday is now offically no pants day.
Hey, maybe cat people mature faster than humans.
The resolution did seem rushed, I agree, but I do like the idea. I guess it depends on the conditions of the curse, and curses in any medium are always a little complicated.
Maybe, after all, Cheetara decided she was in love with Tygra when she was around 10 or so, and waited 8 years ...

It seems that the creators decided to make the Spirits of Evil match the four Mutants/Generals. There's been an old fan theory that the Muntants in the original series were somehow created or descended from the Ancient Spirits of Evil, except the species didn't quite match up there. Now they sort of do.
