Yeah, but next to a bunch of normal sand...
By the way, with the ship these pirates (who appear to be no more than a few days' journey from Thundera) have, how did Technology become a myth, again?
9 minutes left. It's the climax.
edit: And he just quoted Ahab. As if we needed any more proof.
edit edit: Oh, so Jaga is still... alive... ...maybe?

I have a message from another time...Any chance we see an episode about Wilykat and Wilykit serching for that treasure?
Yep, I'm still here. They restated their goal in this episode. I'm sure that El Dara will not be forgotten.
I have a message from another time...This guy was Ahab.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. This episode's just basically a Whole-Plot Reference to Moby Dick. Yeah, the captain basically is Ahab, complete with reciting lines from the end of the book, and you know, getting killed off at the end.
And Jaga is alive. Somehow.
Two Moby Dick episodes in one week. Weird.
I thought it was a pretty cool episode. Nice to see Lion-O get the revenge thing out of his system. I guess "Whiskers" is an Unusual Euphemism. That was bugging me since Lion-O said it in the first episode.
And yay for cute, funny Kittens.

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...So, did they intend to incapacitate the cook with their spice cream? Or was it just a coincidence?

I have a message from another time...well it's kind of hard did not notice being spiced. The kittens are probably smarter than they lock one of the few advantages to being alone at such a young age.
And that's not how you truck someone into getting cooked you offer them "a nice warm bath"
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I didn't exactly have high hopes for this...but I watched. The animation, the voice acting, the action, all brilliant.
I love it.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun? Those kittens are going favorites for me, I'm sure. Kid characters need to have a balance usefulness and silliness. If they're too silly they become Scrappies, and if they're too useful you wonder why they're even kids. I'm sure they'll do fine.
Live your life.What what?
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I don't like annoying kids, and overly mentally mature kids.

Live your life.A little jarring for Lion-O to be so angry, but it makes sense. And the feel even resemebles the tone of the classic series, Lion-O gets his skivies in a bunch and it takes some rattling around to get his head back in gear. Hope we'll find out where Tygra got his battlesuit.
Legends are like a tapestry. The torn and frayed stitching becoming a shroud to an uncertain truthI'm surprised none of them were weirded out by seeing a small little plate of food just randomly floating in the sand sea, but I guess its justifiable considering they were running out of food and probably getting a little delirious.
Also, Tygra puking off the side of the boat made me happy.
I was sadly at a party(it was a good party though) and missed it.
They see me BROLIN, they HATIN'.I liked this episode, but it felt weaker than the premire. I hope the next one's better.
Ok, just realized I recorded it on DVR... 30 minutes ago.
Good episode. The animation is still solid. Character design remains interesting and well stylized. I still don't feel compelled to stab the twins or Snarf
I liked Lion-O's rage over his father's death. I hope it boils up again or manifests in different ways. You know, rather than be forgotten and just have him get over it in the span of an episode.
Moby Dick references are almost always a +1 in my book.
My only qualm would be about the mewing noises the twins made. It was kind of grating to me and didn't really make much sense. I mean, wouldn't that be like a couple of (10? 11? 12?) year old kids going goo goo gaa gaa? That's not cute, that's weird.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaire@Gallowglass: Well, the premiere was extremely epic, so it may take a few episodes to top it.
I caught it. Posted an article in mah blog

I don't think the Sandsea was only a day's march from Thundera...didn't they have a "travelling" montage, that showed the 'Cats at various stages on their trip?
I liked the episode, but it was a bit thin on characterization; we hardly know these characters at all yet, so I would've liked to've seen a bit more with each of them. Tygra and Cheetara didn't get many lines, and we know that 'Kat and 'Kit are cute 'n scrappy—but we knew that already.
I have to wonder...where are all the other Thunderians? Fled, dead, or enslaved, do you think?
That is my problem with the scene. I said in the review it serves no purpose. If the kids DID notice, and DID mean to use the icecream to escape, then the scene as a purpose - showing us they are crafty and clever. But if they didn't notice, then the scene is just padding.
And I can't say "Well the kids would've noticed" because this episode shows us TWICE that the Cats are all terrible at noticing things. They fail to see the Sand Sea when they are next to it till Snarf points it out. And the fail to see the GIANT BOAT SURFING LIGHTNING less than 50 feet away.

Cheetara is the one we know the least. We know she's a cleric and thus has super speed. Followed Lion-O around, probably has the hots for him, and Jaga was her teacher.
Personality-wise? we know almost jack shit about her. Heck, she has 1 non-exposition line last episode, and all it tells us is that Jaga was her teacher. She doesn't really react to the twins trying to join the group, so we don't know how she feels towards that.
How are you guys talking abou...
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireOh God its Friday...
I missed it...
Dang...
