Perhaps they chose the unlocked door (which you then learned in the future) because they tried the other one and it was locked due to your interference. This would be an infringement of free will.

Ah.
Well if that's the reason, the availability of abortion is a factor into other decisions people make. So the illusion of abortion being available would cause people to make bad decisions, because they would be based upon bad information.
It either has to be really there or really not there; not there but seeming like it's there is the worst of both worlds.
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1
