So anyways, a small thing that nobody's pointed out yet, but when I realized it, it kinda made me chuckle. When Britt is giving the speech about handing over the company, Axford is grabbing his shoulder. I mean really digging into it for a very prolonged period of time. It's pretty amazing Britt was able to hold it in.

[up]Yeah, the whole cinema I was at chuckled at that scene, tho I don't really consider it a Crowning Moment Of Funny so I think maybe that's why nobody mention it. It's funny but not funny enough to warrant mention.

I finally got around to seeing this. My God, it was so silly and implausible, but I didn't care because it was fun.

Sometimes, it's good to just sit back and watch a silly popcorn flick with lots of explosions and people kicking ass.

Watched it. A really silly but good piece of fun. I thought Bloodnofsky was the best part of the whole thing. Funniest villain I've seen in quite some time. A genuinely threatening guy who becomes less so because he's trying to become a supervillain. Love it.

I stopped reading this thread when it got to the discussion about race in media.

But yeah, this movie was great for many of the reasons already mentioned.

A bit late to the party, here, but I loved the hell out of this movie. As much as I liked the original radio show, this is the first time Reid and Kato have ever fascinated me as people as opposed to just ass-kickers. Always felt the original didn't reach it's potential, but then it was the forties. The shtick was incredibly unique, making the characters interesting too probably would've been a stretch.

Plus, it was funny as hell. Also, noticed something I was expecting Reid to point out when the gas gun showed up—Kato doesn't trust him with a lethal weapon. [lol]

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.
