i apologize for that, im just trying to get more people into the series is all. i forget about funi's limited resources. but i still want it for people to see, im guessing toei animation gave them restrictions.

Eh. Don't worry. I just have a BAD experience with regions codes. But I REALLY want this to give the series the attention it deserves. It's my second favourite Jump manga at the moment.

Tied for second along with Beelzebub for me. One Piece has a firm first place with me.

Is anyone else curious about the Bird Men? they appeared on the murals in the pyramid so chances are they're the ones who built it. They also apparently come from the Gourmet World. I hope we learn more about them soon.

now i know most of you people have your ways of watching the anime if you cant use funi's stream (please do if you live in the states) but i just had to talk about this weeks episode:

it covered the rainbow fruit, it was very well done, the animation seems to be holding up pretty well, for some reason toei animation is introducing major villan's right out of the gate, i guess to hook people early on or something.and the scene of them testing the fruit was just amazing, made me wish the rainbow fruit really did exist

So this is suddenly getting picked up by a publisher in the US, FU Nimation is streaming it, and he is now prominently featured on the Shonen Jump cover with Naruto and Luffy... WHY is this getting so popular all of a sudden? It's not like it's brand new!

Because it has an anime now and more people watch anime than read manga?

There are two episodes now. If you live in the USA you can watch it here if not I'm sure you can manage on your own.

its been popular for quite a while, always landing in the top 5 with one piece. and with the anime being out for at least 3 weeks (counting the crossover) it can only go up. however teh anime is pacing lighting fast at the moment, its burning through those chapters like nothing, so im a little worried that we might be getting filer pretty dang soon.

im glade bleach is falling in the ranks, it deserves to burn into the ground, hopefully naruto is next (then again it is ending soon)

I think Toriko filler MIGHT work. They just need to use a bit of creativity in making places/Ingredients/Characters.

ANY filler can be good. IT's just most places are not willing to put the time and money into making good filler when most people will still watch the show even with a bad arc or two every so often.

i don't mind filler at all, however don't imbed it into the canon. although implied filler isnt so bad, so they can do that .

im just worried the filler arcs are coming too damn soon. and they can pull off some good filler if they tried, i believe the g8 filler arc for one piece got mostly good reception.

It will probably be after the Regal Mammoth arc at the most. Since they hyped all the introduced characters in it alot.

Also: Chapter 138 is out.

Ughh. The Bird-Like just looks icky when coloured. Pink should not be their colour! Also I do think the fight was over a bit too quickly. And that Cliffhanger....Oh dear. And we have to wait TWO WEEKS to see how Komatsu will get out of this!

First off I saw Episode 4. I don't think I like how Tina is being regulated to comic relief alongside Zonge. Also, they cut out the guy getting eaten alive by the Scorpion Roaches. I saw that coming. I don't really mind though. Also, we actually get SHOWN the foods of the Full Course Meals!

Second: Chapter 139

DAMN KILL/FOOD STEALING BIRD-LIKE! Oh wait. It's now on overdrive and almost one shotted Toriko and Zebra. I find Komatsu's demand that Zebra not kill anymore to be a bit selfish. I mean, the other Bishokokai kill to eat. Unless he means for Zebra to take up Toriko's philosophy. And we get some more information on the Bird-Like

At least the translation I read he specifically said that it was OK to kill to eat. He was just not allowed to kill out of anger or boredom.

Guess I must have missed that.

Also, what food in Toriko did you want to eat the most? I say the BB Corn simply because I don't like popcorn, and yet that food actually made me want to have popcorn. That was how amazing it looked to me.

Century Soup because I just love soup. Although the meat inside that mammoth looks just as good and I do love meat.

Of the ones shown so far? I would have to say the Rainbow Fruit Dessert. Seven different flavors at once? Yes please.

Not that I really have a discriminating palate and it would be like throwing pearls before swine to give me such good food.

I think if anyone here tasted food from Toriko they would explode from how good it tasted even if it was low grade...
