Hey Melk the Second was in the crowd!

I think we'll be seeing a lot of returning characters for this arc.

Toriko filler episodes are fun though the latest one made me wish people would stop putting cute animals in danger for drama's sake.

Yunyunyun~ Gah, that last shot was so adorable!

Nice that they came up with a way to give Yun his name in-series, too. Sometimes filler CAN be helpful!

Why are there buildings inside of the stadium?

Sure it does. Those are the low-level box "seats" where people have their own rooms to eat/sleep over the course of the "festival."

I say "low-level" because the "high-level" ones would be right on the edge of the stadium.

Like I said, everything in Toriko is bigger.

Hell, The entire Toriko version of earth is bigger then Jupiter if you go by Equatorial or Meridian circumference, as This guy shows here

Compare to Jupiter.

Crap. It's amazing. Over 30 billion people and the human world comprises about 5% of the globe? I took the assumption that Toriko earth was the same size as ours. Apparently it's much bigger

I am in denial about the hiatus. (Why so long?!)

Golden Week, followed by the general holidays, is what I've heard.

Manga usually take an extended break around this time, but this is the longest I remember.

Toriko has taken next to no breaks since it started really that were not holidays

Well, the anime isn't on hiatus (RIGHT?)

Toriko fillers are entertaining, thankfully.

Not really (though again, Golden Week and the end of the year will likely force a break or two).

Episode 82 - Komatsu is Butt-Monkey extraordinaire in this episode. Terry's expression at 7:17 is funny meanwhile Toriko's face's like saying - remind me again why I picked Komatsu as a partner - Oh yeah, he's a good cook.

Episode's a filler. Probably, cause I don't remember reading about an Autumn Mountain in the manga. It's got Terry, Yunyun, Coco, Kiss, Sunny, Queen

Dramatic plot point was a tad unnecessary but the food reward looks yummy as usual.

In episode 83, we got Red King Crabs which are insta-Hamburgers - Red King Craburgers; and Watermelons filled with Sweet Potatoes - Sweetermelon Potatoes.

Ah! This isn't filler episode. It's got the bit about Komatsu visiting his school friend, who gets kidnapped by the bad guys.

The bad guys live on a floating island. I missed/cannot remember this tidbit from the manga.

Oh yeah, they're the bad guys all right - they just get the best portions from ingredients and toss the rest out. Also, they tend to treat cooks as slaves. Yeah... I predict Komatsu will be kidnapped by the bad guys someday.

Even Star wants Komatsu.

Komatsu, I like you a lot, but that restaurant decor/setup is hideous so I'm just going to assume that you were just being enthusiastically polite.

Terry, the Amazing Bouncing Battle Wolf. The 4 Heavenly Kings are adorable as kids.
