Well, it IS a popular game.
I have no words beyond the words needed to say I have no words.
Against all tyrants.._. Some people are bastards.
...What the fuck is wrong with these people?
Quest 64 threadThat aren't even remotely enough images to describe the sheer WAT that I'm feeling right now.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Somehow I doubt the hackers broke into the system just to play BLOPS...
Simply appalling. That game sucks. At least host something good, like Diablo II co-op.

I blame activision!
Oh, and the hackers themselves too i guess. Douchebags.
Unbelievable.
I can't think of anything to say beyond that.
Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.It could have at least been Trauma Center, then it would have at least made some sense to play in a hospital.

But it would still be incredibly WAT-inducing.
Also, you wrote Trauma Center wrong.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.I want those guys' heads on poles.
I remember when I discovered I had epilepsy playing a game, and I felt bad enough being a drain on the hospital's resources. They're just sick. I honestly want these people to turn up dead.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Who was the idiot that thought that a hospital server was a good place to hack into for Co D?
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
At least hack something that's NOT A HOSPITAL. I mean, you could have said "library" and at least some of us would have been going "lols". But a hospital?
WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT SHIT

Ehm. Why is a server hosting really sensitive medical information connected to the Internet? Like at all?
Well, they might have just hacked some server they noticed without knowing what it was in real life, but... yeah, that's pretty bad.
Absolutely uninformed guess, so that doctors can access patient data from outside the hospital.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Anything can become a hacker target. It doesn't excuse the behavior, but ultimately it's the hospital's job to make sure their systems are secure. What if the intrusion was used for identity theft, or to screw with patients' medical records?
It's like people who bitch at Blizzard about their World Of Warcraft account being hacked. Dude, if someone planted a keylogger in your computer or you're in the habit of giving away account information because someone sent you a phishing email, you have worse problems than a stupid game.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Can somebody bring in the "this is why we cannot have nice things" picture? Cause that's how I'm feeling right now.
Still need More Dakka, and it's about time to start a real WAAAAAGH.Some of the blame should also go to the hospital. If your network and server are unsecure enough to be hacked by gamers, there is something very wrong.
The gamers didn't seem to care about the confidential records, and the hospital didn't seem to lose any important functionality from this. Most likely they just hacked a random server they came across without thinking about it.
So basically this is just a warning about the hospital's own lack of security. They should be glad it was a bunch of bored gamers that exposed their weakness and not someone who was actively malicious.
