...Good one there. I think you've got it, but we'll wait for the answer.

But of course!

So, the hint is basically that this anime is called Tetsuwan Atom in Japan, and you need a microscope to see an atom, but is called Astro Boy in the US (and internationally, for the most part, I believe) and you need a telecope for astomony.

And yeah, 500th round, so I picked the first example of a TV anime opening possible, as it is special enough for the landmark.

I knew it had to either be Astro Boy or Cyborg009 when you said that it really should be known to the average Otaku today, and Astro Boy was the only one that made sense.
