There's something in there about multiple characters and how you only control one, but I can't tell if it means that you switch them out, or if everyone is present but the others are AI controlled. Need pictures

I think it says that if you're playing with friends, you can switch between characters. So I guess they're AI-controlled in single-player, yeah.

Mangled machine translation says Madoka is not the POV character (big surprise). Although Homura is the obvious choice, the article seems to wonder if an original character will be used...

....Maybe Charlotte's magical girl form?

It sounds like it's mostly following the plot of the anime, so I'm not sure how well a new character would work

Stuff about character POV

I think they're saying there's viewpoints from multiple characters? Japanese plurals are kind of weird.

Normal Contract Pack for 6480 yen or Limited-Edition Contract Box for 11,990 yen
Pre-order bonuses include filmstrips of glasses!Homura and Madoka's transformation scenes and a custom PSP theme, and full orders for the Limited Edition include a school-uniform Madoka figma. I think.
- Also there's
  - a picture compilation blu-ray disc
  - a Kyuubey (PSP?) pouch
  - handkerchiefs like the one Homura sat on in episode 10
  - a clear card? (Is that like a credit card sleeve or something?)
  - SHAFT illustration box or something
  - and some other thing that's something to do with a UMD or something
Outside of dungeons, you move from place to place and talk to people. Like in Persona, I guess. The locations of the other magical girls are marked on the map.

The game isn't told through Madoka's viewpoint, but that of the other characters (and possibly some entirely new characters??).
Multiple new witches designed by Inu Curry! I am stupendously excited for this.
Multiple branching scenarios! (So it's very possible that some of the new witches are Kyouko's or Mami's!)
Inside dungeons, the view shifts to a 3D roguelike dungeon-crawler. Radar is displayed in the top-right corner, and HP, MP, etc. gauges are in the bottom-left. (So aside from the roguelike part, it is basically Persona with Madoka characters. Heehee.)
- Battles will be very strategic! I think. Particularily with the differences in characters' attack range (like Mami and Sayaka, for example).
  - Also there's finishing moves like Tiro Finale
- Soul Gems and Grief Seeds are inventory items of some sort
They got the idea for a Madoka game around episodes 2 and 3, and made a proposition about it after episode 4. ...I think.
The developers wish to explore sides of the characters and their backstories that the anime didn't fully cover.
- Speaking of which apparently it's possible to view events from Kyuubey's viewpoint??

You had me at multiple witches - that's probably Suleika, Albertine and Uhrmann right there. And Kyouko and Mami are doomed. More than they were in canon, any rate.

I hope some enterprising fan will set up a Fan Translation project...

I'm only half-joking about the human!Charlotte WMG, especially if the "she knew Homura" WMG bears out - it would be an excuse to show glasses Homura in flashback scenes.

You guys always think that we're going to see the witch form of an existing character and/or the human form of an existing witch. It hasn't happened before, and is only slightly more likely to now

Oh man, all the news coming out just makes this better and better. My speculah drive is going wild. And I'm so happy to see multiple branching scenarios, because I would be seriously disappointed if there wasn't. I hope this isn't personal overhype because I'm prone to that (SPOOOOOOORE), because this could be absolutely amazing. And considering Namdai's track record...

Rules of the fandom: Any new girl is a witch we've seen (most likely Walpurgisnacht), and any new media will have something explosively new =P Hopefully one day it'll come to pass.
