Granted it's been a while since I've seen it, but didn't they just do the exact same gag? People getting offed because of their capes mucking things up? How is that "more" deconstruction?

Well, in Incredibles, it actually offed the main villain. But I did not say "more deconstruction". I said "did [the cape gag] more". As in, more people got killed by it.

Well The flower and the pigtails are a very big coincidence, also they apparently live in the same area and aren't too strong, so it's possible and horrifying.

Yeah... Probably not a coincidence. I think it's not unlikely that a good percentage of witches were Magical Girls from the area. Of course that means that the first witch we saw Mami fight was a former ally...
