Nothing unusual. 2 did have some guns which were much better than their counterparts but the maps were great.

3 on the other hand, still has issues with balance (when will they ever fix the FMG9s?)... and the maps suck. Hell, I might even consider buying a map pack or two of the maps from the previous games.

The things 3 did right were perks (mostly, I dislike how they nerfed Scavenger) and pointstreaks. That's about it.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't mind if Scavenger resupplied Grenade Launcher's again. There's that damn Assassin Perk though. >:|

Really? I never had much beef with tubers but it does seem to be rather sore point. I was thinking that as a compromise though, it should at least refill equipment.

See, the problem about OMA was that you could refill anywhere, anytime. Plus, in terms of launchers, the first round gets preloaded. With Scavenger, you actually have to hunt for bags, which has an element of risk and mitigates camping somewhat.

I'm only saying that because they got rebalanced in MW 3 finally. You don't see them used as much. Other than that you know I feel the same way you do about it.

Yeah, um... Infinity Ward kind of went overboard with the rebalancing. So launchers can't be spammed anymore. Great. But was there also a need to make them so weak?

Most of them, anyway. The XM 25, on account of its fire rate, can stay that way. It's a pretty awesome, if rather confusing concept. I'm still trying to get the hang of the distance calibration mechanism - so far, I usually have more success aiming for surfaces than trying to airburst the grenades properly.

Well, I'm still maining the UMP, and it's going all right for me so far. And I must say, I love the little additions to multi-player. It makes it an overall better experience for me this time around, even if the current maps aren't quite up to par.

I'd rather explosives be like this than what they were before. You'd see more grenades and rockets flying through the air than bullets sometimes. The shotguns on the other hand are still crap. Why haven't they fixed this yet?

Which is why I am sort of miffed that Scavenger doesn't refill launcher ammo. Either make them unspammable or weak. Not both.

You're in for a pleasant surprise then. Remember the Extended Mags glitch that multiplied shotshell pellets by 1.5? The one that actually gave shotties a chance to do their job properly (viz. CQB) instead of being overwhelmed by subs running Rapid Fire? Infinity Ward fixed it with the patch that also 'fixed' FMG9s and the Type 95's close-range damage.

Scavenger really should refill the launcher ammo, I agree. I still use a launcher as sidearm, but it's kinda useless when one shot isn't enough to take down a heli.

Wha...? I don't really care anymore. I've stopped playing it as much as I did before due to the fun factor not really being there.

I also like the new Survival Mode, the co-op for that is very fun and addicting as well.

What is that new Survival mode everyone talked about? I really do don't have an idea what is it

It's under Spec Ops. You (and a friend, ideally) face wave after wave of enemies, with breaks in between to refill ammo or buy new weapons. It's pretty fun, your basic Horde mode, really.

Just fear the Juggernauts. Especially the Riot Shield and Armoured ones. Not fun. Unless you got a Predator Missile. tongue

Yeah, the Juggernauts are tough. It's not too easy when multiple ones are bearing down on you and you're separated from your buddy.

I haven't touched a Co D game in a while. I didn't really like the trend they were going for after the first MW, so I kept away. But today I tried out that Survival mode with a friend(splitscreen), and it was just so much fun. I'm not sure why. It was challenging yet fair, and the Juggernauts are probably as close to a boss as this series will get, which is something I liked.

So yeah, just saying, Survival is tons of fun if you've got a friend and an extra controller. It's been a while since I've played with someone offline!

Survival was the only mode I'd played before getting it for Christmas, and it heavily influenced my decision to get the game. SO ADDICTIVE.

The only thing better than fighting Juggernauts is being Juggernauts.

Now you ARE the Juggernaut (bitch).

P.S. Shield Juggy forever.

You know, when you play on a Multiplayer map you be on a certain faction like the S.A.S or the Russian Spetnaz (hope I spelled that right). They have themes for winning, spawning etc.

My favourite is definitely the Inner Circle spawn theme. When you hear that music, you know some bad shit is about to go down.
