Looking at the Glee page, I noticed there'd been some recent additions for supposed future episodes and tropes concerning them. I can't be certain that it's actually verifiable, what do we do about crystal-ball-gazing (if there is such a term on here)?

Not sure if it falls under Natter as well... so what do we do?

I feel like this has come up specifically about Glee before.

I think the issue here is something worth looking into with a broader focus, namely work pages for movies, video games, an ongoing series, etc. gathering tropes and examples before the work is even finished or publicly released.

Most often, a lot of pages for recent or soon-to-be-released works (especially the latter) are listing things based solely off of assumptions from a trailer, comments made in an interview with a creator or star of the work, or general fan expectations which may or may not ever come into fruition.

Looking at the Batman Arkham City page, for example, some tropes already being listed are rooted in tons of speculation and peppered with phrases such as "while the full details aren't available yet...", "only time will tell", "according to Conroy", and "possibly."

Hell, there's a page about Final Fantasy XV despite it not being even announced yet.

I notice on the Glee page there's unverifiable information about one of the actors on Glee, especially as there is nothing about it on any search engines or news sites (this relates to a trope with "future" information).

Yeah, just cut future info and speculation about actor's lives. These are not even close to what this wiki is about.

I've just removed a Did Not Do The Research entry since I'm not sure if it's Natter or not.

Uh... has this been resolved? Can we lock this discussion?

Do loafing!
