-stakes.

Pencils make good stakes, and can be fashioned into crosses, in addition to being usable outside a building. Keyboards don't have that protective properties, and by only being usable inside buildings, provide vampires a way to connect with people via writing.

Apparently, if you cut off a vampire's head, stuff the mouth with garlic and burn the whole lot, it dies.

So, the transition to digital media is a vampire conspiracy?

It all makes sense now.

Obviously, the Data Vampires are in on it too. Get all our information online/digital and then suck it dry.

[up][up] Judecca: Laptops are computers. Keyboards are created for computers. Keyboards for laptops ought to count even if the laps don't.

By the way, what if we knock the vampires out by throwing our keyboards or laptops at them before proceeding to kill them with traditional items? I somehow doubt that the vampires would overlook such chances of their plan backfiring.

Problems like that aside, this WMG gives me a very good answer to people asking annoying questions like "Why are you still using pencils instead of pens?": "To avoid getting attacked by vampires while doodling digitally". If they are sane enough (which is the case with most of the people I talk with), it will deter them from asking me anything again, and it will be a good practice session for telling funny things with a straight face. tongue

If everyone has repetitive strain injury, how are they going to be able to fight vampires?
