"What evidence is there aside from the machine?" The Shocker Rider told Daido. "Not saying that she needs to be protected once it's 100% confirmed that she's one."

Maleficent stood outside, preparing a spell.......

"With brambles as thick at tempered steel,

Covered in thorns that rend the flesh,

Grow from the Earth before enemies reveal,

So they may writhe in agony as they thresh!!"

Soon, all around the house and the barn, large thick bushes grew instantly, each and every one five feet in height and covered in thorns that can slash through solid bones with ease.....

"It is merely a matter of destroy any that manage to survive going through that," the Dark Fae said to Gilgamesh.

"Hm. Okay then. When she turns, then there will be enough proof." Daido said.

"FOR-NOW, WE-SHALL-NOT-TRUST-HER."

“If I wanted to I could destroy the entire forest and everything that dwells within it. But it is a waste of my power. I want to see these mongrel’s bleed when I run them through, not be vaporized by my magic.” Gilgamesh said with a certain amount of rancor.

“Your…thorns should slow them down enough. But these beasts are not lacking in intelligence. And…” Gilgamesh trailed off, sniffing the air. Something…

He looked towards the house.

“Do you smell blood…and I don’t mean their blood.”

Seeing the werewolves spring from the trees, the monstrous morph of the Visser waddled into action, pointing a fat finger at one and relasing a sizzling blast of heat and flame.

Huron grinned as he too saw the wolves approach. Screaming a wordless battle cry born of hatred, the Chaos Space Marine charged towards the nearest one, slashing anything that moved aside, intent on killing and nothing more.

Sec finished welding over all the windows.

"Good. For now, we need to make sure our comrades are fine and barricade further this place."

Maleficent sniffed the air. "Yes I do smell it as well," Maleficent said. "Even if that wounded soldier succumbed to his injuries, the smell of death should not be that immense...." She rested her finger on her chin as she pondered.

Gilgamesh turned and walked slightly to the side of the thorn wall, by the back of the house. He ducked for a second and put his gauntleted hand to the grass. Bringing it up, it had a few specks of red upon it.

“None of the wounded came this way, and I saw no wolf that was wounded come this way. This is human.” Standing tall, Gilgamesh saw another pattern of blood droplets…and another. All in a line…going to the house. They vanished into the thorns that Maleficent had created but seemed to be leading to the back door. Glancing backwards in the dim light, Gilgamesh could make out that they had come from the forest. Turning back to the house, Gilgamesh said,

“I believe we need to check this building.”

"Thriller! Thrilleeerrrr-rrrara!! Dananana!" Black Mage started singing as he started working, summoning setting knife traps along the perimeter.

The Shocker Rider ignored the Black Mage's singing and went to check the house if the place was secured.

"I agree," Maleficent, who had been closely following Gilgamesh, replied. "A trail of blood around the only possible safe house in this countryside cannot be mere coincidence."

Seeing that the threat had been repelled for now, Visser Three waddled back over to the house, his corpulent morph's fleshy body jiggling comically with every step.

<Perhaps if we set the forest ablaze we will repel our attackers,> he mused, looking down at his crackling palm.

The Shocker Rider continued to search every nook and cranny to ensure the house was secured. Not that he can trust the others to help him in this task.

Doom sat cross-legged within the cabin's living room, eyes closed and chanting under his breath. The armoured tyrant was preparing a truly prodigious spell, a ward that would seal this entire building within a potent magical barrier which, if not successful in keeping the werewolves from entering the estate outright, would at least retard their progress severely.

Those with a sensitivity to magic would be able to feel the raw arcane energies gathered around Doom, focusing near his hands as he wrought his powerful warding spell; those without would notice its influence regardless, due in no small part to the sudden drop in temperature in his immediate vicinity.

—The trundling of tank treads sounds from outside this improvised bastion, getting progressively louder.—

"Seems that big robot guy's coming."

The Shocker Rider said before he continued to check the closets for any hiding hostiles.

Jack his in a corner of the cabin, clutching the Eye of Dashi so hard his knuckles turned white.

Gilgamesh made his way to the back of the house and managed to get the door open. The blood went down a set of stairs to the left.

“I have a feeling we are in the mongrel’s own home.” He started down the stairs, his boots stamping and crunching on the wooden steps.

-Sinister figures began to move through the forest. The Overlords could see one or two of the werewolves try the thorn-forest, only to fall back immediately afterwards. They seemed to be rotating around the house-

-Inside, the soldiers had finished barricading doors and windows, and were pooling ammunition. Two of the soldiers had taken the sergeant upstairs, and the wounded Special Forces operative was lying on the sofa-

Dalek Sec went towards the soldiers.
"I-BELIEVE-THAT-I-SHOULD-BE-IN-COMMAND."

"How interesting." The Shocker Rider stared at the blood from behind Gilgamesh. "Then it seems that we have unwanted visitors."

-Anyone who happened to be watching the forest might be able to make out that there were silhouettes not only on the ground, but in the trees as well. Clearly, the wolves could climb. They leapt from tree to tree, making it closer to the house. Then, the creatures leapt through the air, clearing the distance and thudding down close to the edge of the house, untouched by the thorns. Two of them scuttled up the walls,while the others crept around the sides of the house, towards the windows and doors-

-Upstairs, in the main bedroom, Sergeant Wells lay sprawled out on the bed. He was unconscious, and as such was unable to respond to the werewolf stepping through the upstairs window into his room. Terry, on the other hand, overcame his fear and fired his rifle at the beast-

"Werewolves! They're in the house!"

—Megatank trundled over to the edge of the thorn wall, then took aim at one of the wolves.—
