I managed to get Might of Ratatosk Emil from doing 3 singles rolls, and currently have him as my leader. Only been able to do the 2nd stage, since I can't consistently clear it, so I'm afraid of how hard the 3rd stage is going to be. I equipped them with water weapons, and is using a "Balanced" focused set-up, after locking those weapons on the characters. Locked them since the SAO stuff is some of my best gear, but they are earth element so they're no help. Though I still have the coat equipped. Will that increase damage or not? I looked on the wiki, and they used "weapons" to refer to gear when talking about elemental multipliers, so I don't know if armors give elemental penalties.

The coat's just a defense buff. Hopefully they're UR++ or at least UR.
Also does your Sara have her Link Finisher passive unlocked?

Apologies, I meant "will it increase damage taken by my unit", not "will it increase their damage output", since it's earth elemental.

Also does your Sara have Link Finisher unlocked? I'd suggest putting her on MA Finisher duty first and foremost if she does, especially if she has GE or UR++ Repulsor SAO weapon equipped

I don't think so, the only units on this team I used regularly was Maid Milla, though I did use Sara for brief time when I got her. And I did use Zelos and Sorey when doing SA though.
I believe I have all the GE weapons at least UR, except for the Spell one, it's at SR++. Did get at least one copy of all SAO gear to UR++. Didn't equipped those since they were earth, and thought that would reduce damage output, but I just did the math, my units would be dealing 1.125x damage with a boost from their element, and a penalty from the gears' element, so I'll put them back on.

Right, now take that SA Sara, go to the Malik Keys levels and make sure she kills as much enemies as possible to get her Link Finisher passive, then give her the UR++ Dark Repulsor (that has a link finisher style passive attached), partner with a Barbatos friend, make sure you can reach 45 LC needed to trigger Maid Milla's active and watch Lailah's sweet seraph blood flow like wine. I'm sure that'll do the job.

Unfortunately, I don't have any Malik keys. I tend to use them up as soon as I get them to power my teams. Guess I could just do a bunch of low cost quests to finish the mission for them.

Try to avoid using the Dark Repulsor, because the earth element on the weapon will reduce your damage to 0.67x, which will massively cripple your damage from your finisher. Same goes for the Earth elemental coats, but at least with those you only need them on tanks, so their damage doesn't matter (they won't take more damage, just deal less).

Well, according to the chart on the wiki, an elemental bonus is 1.5x, while a penalty is .75x. Those multiplied is 1.125x, which should be the multiplier for my damage due to how multiplication works. Or am I missing something?

Actually if its on an MA finisher then the reduced damage might not matter when its Link Finisher style passive triggers in conjunction with a UR++ GE weapon's passive and a SA character's natural Link Finisher boost and a 3* attack guardian at best. Those passives stack and as a result that's a pretty hefty damage output that'll only require maybe an extra boost at best.
Also maintenance has been moved up a day so it'll begin around either today or Tuesday. Dunno if we'll get our Soul Arena prizes earlier or not but whatever. I hope I get a water Zelos.

So this Friday, an event to get Kana's hoodie as armor is going up. At max level and rarity, it has a 378 ATK, 145 HP, and 322 RCV, with a passive that boosts RCV by 10% when HP is 50% or less. Not bad.

Oh and they're re-running the Kana clash event so if you're hurting for a water unit, Kana's a pretty damn good one.
Went back to Destiny 2 and for some reason Judas does a Jojo pose if he wins via MA. No I'm not talking about that MA, I saw him do said winpose after using Cleansing Inferno.

Kana could be a replacement for the Gaze of Justice Stahn I'm using, as her stats are way better. On the subject of my team, did a few Malik runs, and Sara got her 3rd passive, and Milla got her final passive, a 13% ATK boost that helps a lot. Still have some keys left over, as I don't have much stamina gels in stock, so need to wait to recharge.

So how's everyone doing on the Lailah event? I'm probably just gonna get one of each UR++ weapon this time since getting multiples in the SAO event was just sucha fucking draaaaaag.
I've managed to do 3F Lailah by having Meredy as my leader (buffs all Water types' attacks by 1.8), Maid Milla (water type) as the tile change bitch since she's a rubbish MA finisher, and my ACTUAL finisher is, once again, SA Edna who I almost want to fucking kiss at this point, as she not only gets to use a GE weapon but has Link Finisher. Then I rely on a Barbatos friend and get up to only 45LC needed for Milla's tile change and go from there.
