Awwww.
but it is the Tales Studio
With the exception of the music and some of the backgrounds, Tales of Legendia seems low-budget all around.
Not Three Laws compliant.Around symphonia 2's budget?
I think Symphonia 2 actually had a lower budget, because of all the reused locations.
Not Three Laws compliant.Regarding Legendia's character quests, you might want to turn down the difficulty to easy. Not because its difficult but because its not much fun taking on recolored enemies with even more health while running through the same dungeons.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Locations were reused because the world is the SAME, only two years later. Kind of like Pokemon Gold/Silver reused practically all of Kanto.
Also, Kombat, you are on to something. Legendia was NOT made by Tales Studio, but the one that did/does the Soul Calibur/Tekken games. Which is like putting a shoemaker to bake bread and the other way around.
Started Will's Quest. (Steming from above: Bread Rain Alpha?)

Copying from one place is 'plagiarism'. Copying from several places, 'research'.And they didn't add Siegfried or Jin Kazama as a cameo boss battle or move why?
Come to think has ANYTHING from Soul C Alibur or Tekken cameoed in a Tales series? I know Kos-Mos always wastes a spot but come on.
The closest we get is Tokunaga with Heihachi's headwings in Abyss but that's about it.
I can understand reused reas. Still kinda wish Symphonia 2 had a traversable world map, Over Limit (Abyss-style) and summons. Really no excuse for Sheena to not have summons in battle.
But anyway.
So, just now I had a piece of spicy cake. I think Raine was actually on to something.
I have a message from another time...It's not a bad idea in itself. After all, cinnamon is a spice. So is nutmeg.

Song of the SirensNot spiced cake, but spicy cake. As in, one of the spices was cayenne.
...cinnamon was also one of the spices, true.

I have a message from another time...What about Sheena's ideas?
The only one I can remember is pineapple curry. It could work. Isn't Sheena one of the best cooks in the game though?

Not Three Laws compliant.I've actually taken to having pineapple with spicy stuff since then. Never tried pineapple in curry, though.
anyway, the cake was red velvet, with a cream-cheese icing. The cake had cayenne and cinnamon mixed in, and the icing had cayenne and a shot of cinnamon schnapps. It was pretty good, though I found it was better with some ice cream to cut the spice.
I was very surprised to find that my mom was making it from an existing recipe that she's seen before.

I have a message from another time...The impression I got with Raine and Sheena's cooking was that while Sheena experimented, she made sure it tasted good before serving it. Raine just went all out and didn't really think it through, like with the spicy cake, I got the impression it would be absurdly spicy.
Not Three Laws compliant. And her spicy cake would probably have no sugar at all.
I have a message from another time...What about Arche?
If I remember the general skills, Raine went all mad scientist on her food, hence the craziness, Sheena was odd, but tested it and made it taste good, Genis and Regal are just really good cooks, and I can't really remember the others that well.

I have a message from another time...I think Arche just wasn't very good. The characters in Phantasia don't really have much of a personality.
Not Three Laws compliant.I had a spicy cake once when I was a kid. I didn't like it.
On a semi-related note, I found it strangely lulzy when Luke failed at making cakes in Abyss. I don't really know why, except maybe, "Can't this guy catch a break?" "Luke made Burnt Cake!"
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyTrue.
Least Mint was pretty.
Wasn't Natalia the really dreadful chef in Abyss? Only thing I can remember is her trying to cast Heal on a piece of charred meat.
Song of the SirensDidn't she like vow to get better at it though?
Yeah. In fact, one of the later skits is about how much she's improved.
Word of God is that they didn't have the VO budget to voice the both the Main Quest and the Character Quests.
