Lightbearers would be the ideas people (what with having the facts to juggle with), so... yes, mostly, they would gravitate to a high point on the totem-pole, regardless.

That's why I'm interested in this shift: all types can and must use shinsoo to do what they do. Wave controlers are better then the rest at projecting it outward in concentrated amounts. And, what does that test mainly select for? So, why suddenly shove them at the top?

Does this mean that they can sense/ read things about the environment even Lightbearers can't, at times?

Maybe it's because they can feel the pulse of a floor in ways the others can't.

Yeah... did not see that coming. Also should be interesting to see how Baam (forgetting his current name at the moment) reacts to such a weak person who has ties to Zahard. Also, I think it is to early to assume that he is a prince, just that he has some connection.

Who knows, the ring might just be a momento and belonged to someone else originally. I'm sure we are all savy enough to pull a half-dozen different about where it could go from here as long as we don't make assumptions.

That ring appears in the next episode preview, and this symbol does seem to indicate something about the Prince of Zahard. And the little translator's note

I wonder how the spoiled kid plans on getting back Yeon from Baam. It's not like Baam is going to bet her, or even act like he owns her.

Apparently, we all forgot about this as well. Dang it... Is this going to be like One Piece and we are going to have to re-read it multiple times to catch all the foreshadowing?

I wonder who the three people that Baam killed at the test start were, and I wonder whom attacked whom. He did leave the rest alone as they came in.

Wait what turned Baam hostile was voting! He hates democracy!

But seriously he waited until everyone gathered and he had only six minutes left to fight the last people. Actually since he waited for that little voting thing to happen I'm betting that it was even less than that.

He even limits the damage during the fight. He didn't fight weak people and only attacked the fairly strong people. Then he just killed the last guy who came up. For seemingly no reason.

And then he just chases Wangnan around for the last bit of time. He does slow big movements and let's Wangnan hit him with the bombs. Which turned out to be a horrible decision.

I don't get Baam.

Actually since they appear to be teleported away after taking so much damage they may not be dead. A safety device for the floor maybe?

I don't think they're dead, they're just teleported away since they're too injured to continue.

Yeah, Baam's actions are really weird... Maybe Baam only really got hostile when the guy with the gun-lance thingy came and stirred things up. Or maybe it was some sort of training, like a self-imposed challenge: "I'm gonna wait til there's only five minutes left then I'll see if I can slaughter everyone in that span of time". Or maybe he just wanted Wangnan and the others to fear/ignore him.

I read it as a case of "if you leave me alone, I leave you alone. Bug me and you die or wish you could." But, Baam's berserk buttons have changed to ones I can't quite follow any more. Well, since then, we do know one: links to Zahard? You're toast, or have a hell of a lot of explaining to do.

But, well… I feel like there's no telling how Baam will react to this. But, if I can wildly spitball ideas for a bit-

• Wangnan's goal is to become king of the tower, meaning he wants to replace Zahard. So that might not be incompatible with FUG's goals.
• Baam is allied with FUG not because of an real ideological reasons, but simply because they're willing to help him.
  • FUG is helping him because he's an irregular and will therefore shake things up. As a group that's trying to change the status quo but has very powerful enemies, it's easy to see why irregulars are an attractive concept to them.
• Now, for my personal pet theory: Only the strongest person on in bottom 134 floors can progress to floor 135, which is why Phantaminium picked a fight with Zahard and why both people stronger than Zahard have gone missing.
  • This means that Zahard and the Great family Heads are effectively blocking the higher floors through their refusal, for whatever reason, to progress.
  • FUG knows this, and that's why they're trying to get rid of them.
• So, maybe Wangnan is Zahard's heir; the king is waiting for the only prince in existence to climb the tower, so that he can yield the throne to him and progress.
• If all of the above theories are true, helping Wangnan would be in FUG's best interests.
  • Though it's entirely possible that Baam doesn't know all that, so…

I forgot how much of a clumsy person the Yeon girl is. Baam and her living together should continue to be fun.

Just noticed when Wangnan threatened to drop his pants the little girl hid behind Teddy, and brought out something that looked like a phone. I can only assume she was trying to take a picture if he did get his pants off.

I wonder when/if the pocket that Baam got from Yuri will come into play. It's supposed to be much better than the average one.

You know I wonder if Baam even really cares about FUG's goals and what not. He may be just doing what they are telling him because his raison d'etre was completely removed. Rachel not only didn't want him she found his very presence to be harmful to herself. She tried to murder him and that's completely incompatible with his purpose.

I wonder what his new raison d'etre is.

New chapter out!

Both Wangnan and Baam play it cool, but it seems Baam suspects something... deeper.

Yeon is fast becoming my favorite character in this group. She's just looks so fun to mess with.

And damn that's an interesting test. I don't know how the "rules" will apply in Love's fight against Baam... and for plot purposes Baam would likely win, but the question is: how, against a Ranker out to eliminate him?

For plot purposes Baam must survive not win. If he wins then he doesn't have to bring along a team.

Baam knows something about the ring, but doesn't care? Whaaaa?

Baam is good at making friends. I also liked him just ignoring the spoiled kid.

Yeon is super adorable in a bitchy kind of way. Aren't You Going to Ravish Me? was nicely played. I think this is one of the few times that the girl wanted to murder the guy who didn't care about ravishing her though.

Ah, yes, sorry, I meant a "win" as in "not get eliminated".

Well, we knew the test's Administrator had a screw loose...

His funeral, if he's not careful. Or hiding something.

I find it most likely that "Fug" will mearly survive the fight, and not "win" it (afterall, the rankers need to keep their appearence as a threat). Now, what the top administrator for the floor will do... well, this guy was warned.

Any idea how this test will work? I expect a "locked room escape" and what one person says being different than what the other person hears.

I kind of also meant that his superior will likely get on his case, whatever the outcome. In short, his funeral.

Mind you: this might be the very thing his superior was hoping to provoke. Who knows how this'll all play out? Can't wait to find out!

About the test itself... no idea. But, I'm betting those cards weren't introduced just for kicks and giggles.

Oh well. In my opinion the short guy is overconfident, so the fight could go either way.

Take a gander at the scores- he got 100x Baam's score just by flicking the machine.

Methinks Baam has little to no chance of beating him in a straight fight.

Aha, maybe that's what we're supposed to think!

Well, it's not like the consequences of losing will be that great anyway. He won't even fail, he'll just have to take some regulars along for the ride.
