ESRB writeups are kinda funny for the same reason the ESRB is kinda broken right now- No context is ever given beyond the basics of basics.

Ooo, Federation Force will be for 3DS. That means I'll actually be able to play it when it comes out. I've yet to pick up a Wii U.

Is Prime Trilogy available for Wii U?

Yes it is and I love it. It does require a Wiimote and Nunchuck though. You can't play it with the gamepad.

That is to say, a handful of Wii ISOs can be downloaded and read as if they were actual discs by the Wii U in Wii mode.

I highly recommend downloading a save file from here to an SD card and sticking it in your system's memory, as an aside- With the death of NWFC, green tokens are otherwise unavailable for Trilogy's bonus features, and one of those files is "fresh" except for having enough green tokens to eventually access everything.

I found a neat Samus fanmix. with Trainwreck 1979, Another One Bites the Dust, Bad Reputation, Hollow, I Don't Care, Cherry Bomb, Boys Wanna Be Her, Viva La Gloria!, Live and Let Die, and Zero Zero.

Its a good look for Samus. That appears to be referencing something that I almost but not quite remember.

Does anyone recognize if her pose and expression is a reference to anything?

A long camisole and fingerless gloves? Seems about right.

I couldn't guess. It might just be a reference to a general cultural thing.

They presumably didn't want to waste time on a surefire bomb. It's not going to get any more meaningful marketing.

Counterpoint: They dedicated a segment to Color Splash.

That hasn't gotten nearly a year of non-stop hatred (only a few months), is part of a stronger series, and is basically the only Wii U game they have left for the year. Not completely comparable.
