Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Far and away my favorite Kingdom Hearts game, and the second biggest reason I'm glad I got a PSP last year.
Also, Donkey Kong Country Returns. An extremely worthy successor to the franchise, and my favorite game to play with my brother.
And Sonic Colors. Far and away my favorite 3D sonic, and notable for just being a good game without any qualifiers like "for a Sonic game". It's just good on its own.

I have a message from another time...Red Dead Redemption and Mass Effect 2, easily the two best games of the year.
There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.As for mods:
Command And Conquer 3: The Forgotten. This mod is a double Crowning Moment Of Awesome for me. For one, the oft-ignored Forgotten faction is fully fleshed out into something formidable, and two, it is perhaps the only C&C3 mod with a working Single-Player campaign.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelSuper Street Fighter IV. Dudley and Hakan say hi.
If the Japanese release counts, Pokémon Black and White. After a mediocre original 4th gen, Game Freak reconstructed the series with an actually interesting story and a completely upheaved competitive scene.
Bayonetta: Punching God into the sun. Oh, yeah.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.Heart Gold and Soul Silver, BEST GAME MOMENT EVER!!
I must say having everyone live on your fist run of Mass Effect 2, and on the second day after the game came out no less, is just AWESOME.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Worst Final Fantasy ever? MY ASS.
^ Transformers can fuck off.
We cannot forget Assasins Creed Brotherho- *Stabbed*
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.@dmysta: Every Final Fantasy after 1 is the worst ever, and 1 may have nothing going for it beyond historical value. That's just the way the world works.

Kirby's Epic Yarn in its entirety. Insert game, receive most squee ever and some damn fine platforming besides.
The moment in Super Scribblenauts when I realized "Dead Basilosaurus" was a valid phrase, and also when I discovered the many magical impregnating-of-men properties of dung.

Bayonetta. The whole thing.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.I'm thirding Mass Effect 2 and it's suicide mission. It didn't exactly feel suicidal, but I kept wandering what kind of little detail might get them killed (was I taking too long? Might Garrus not be up to being a fireteam leader twice? What kind of person should I send to escort the crew, etc), especially after losing Thane in the vent ducts. I know some found the fact that it gets sprung on you rather unexpectedly to be annoying, but it helped to create a real sense of urgency.
Mass Effect 2. A lot of people know bioware at this point need no reason to be called awesome anymore. Also, for me id say Puzzle Agent from Telltale. A profoundly messed up mind-screw of a game. You have to enjoy games that had such evil villains. And most of Sam and Max season 3. :)
No matter how fast the tech evolves, how wonderful the graphics change. Sometimes its the IDEA that makes the game better, not money.Finale of Medal of Honor.
"Guys... we're gonna need you to give it your all here."
The Independent ending of Fallout New Vegas. Awesome ~
Red Dead Redemption was a great game, I agree. Sonic Colors is also amazing.
mine was Red Dead Redemption, few games have moved me more except MGS 4 and i think few games have reached the level of maturity and cleverness in that game script. to pick a moment in particular it would be the final chat between john marston and dutch. that and "Compass"
