Come Follow Me: Pokemon Red and Blue fic

Alright, I've had this idea for a while now, but I've never actually been able to start it. The main plot I've planned is to alternately interpret the story of the games in this way:

Professor Oak, the former leading researcher of the world of Pokemon, lost his position and funding due to the creation of "Project: Indigo", the brainchild of Giovanni. Envious and enraged because of his losses because of this project, Oak has taken in a mentally unstable child, Red, and sent him to murder each of Giovanni's top scientists (the Gym Leaders of Gen. I), under the guise of an assistant Pokemon researcher.

Red, considering his psychological instability within this story, has brought the illusion of a "Pokemon League" within his mind, to help cope with the fact that he's actually killing people. So, basically, there are no actual Gym Leaders, but he has placed this title upon each of his targets.

Blue is to be set as the protagonist, a 20-some year old detective, and son of Professor Oak, who is trying to track down Red, and guess who his next target will be. Instead of the usual opinion that Red killed Blue's Raticate, Red will kill his partner Jenny (Officer Jenny).

So, here's a list of characters that I haven't described yet:

Brock: The lead researcher on Pokemon Breeding, and Red's first target.

Misty: The lead researcher on aquatic Pokemon, and Red's second target.

Lt. Surge: Giovanni's source of military information and funding. He is studying the effects of electric Pokemon on the battlefield, and Red's third target.

Erika: Giovanni's daughter, and head researcher of grass and bug type Pokemon, and their effects on ecosystems. Red's fourth target.

Sabrina: A paranormal and supernatural scientist/investigator. Through her work she was able to tap into the inner reaches of her mind and obtain actual psychic powers. Red's fifth target whom he is unable to kill.

Koga: A doctor who studies poisonous Pokemon, and creates anti-venoms from each one in order to help infected individuals. Head of the medical division of Project: Indigo, and Red's sixth target.

Blaine: An old friend of Giovanni's, and an eccentric millionaire. He does research on cloning Pokemon, and "resurrecting" prehistoric and fossilized Pokemon from his private island (Cinnabar). Red's seventh target.

So... Opinions? Ideas? Anything? I usually don't ask for help on my fanfics, but this one is just... ugh! So hard to get started on. Any help would be amazing.

Mature. Definitely mature. Any less, and I'd be violating so many things, that no one would ever look at me the same way again.

You'd expect less for a story having Red being a serial killer?

isn't Come Follow Me the name of a Pokémon creepypasta ?

Who would the Elite Four be? A board of investors?

Hmm... Actually, that's a fan nickname for the pasta. It's actually what Oak tells you at the beginning of the games before he takes you to his lab.

The Elite Four are going to be a team of bodyguards eventually hired by Prof. Oak to keep Blue away from Red. Lance being the leader, Lorelei being the tactician, Bruno being the Big Guy, and Agatha being the spy/Team Mom.

I said eww because of the thought that sex might be involved.

Mature =/= sex. And even if it did, sex =/= porn.

Hmm, I never really thought of having sex within the story. It's mostly just Blue trying to stop Red, but the murder scenes will be a bit graphic.
