Nintendo games very, very rarely go on sale. Let alone if it's one of their main money-printers.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyIt kills me far less often now. As soon as I see it and as long I'm not otherwise incapacitated, it can't touch me. It's a very specific combination of moves that can make it deadly.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSo my brother got his copy of the Wii U version yesterday, and us and our other brother went crazy with it. Still super fun. I like that you can do Classic and such with two people - that way we can help him get trophies and still play together.
We've unlocked Falco, Lucina, and Mr. Game and Watch so far, just from playing lots of matches.
I'd played some of the Wii U version at a friend's house, so my brothers and I aren't new to it, but this is the first time that my family has actually owned it. It helps that we're all in the same ballpark in terms of skill...unlike said friend, who's usually better than all of us.

I'm available for Wii U battling; anyone up for some?
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018GUYS. MY BABY STEP SISTER JUST GAVE ME A DONKEY KONG AMIIBO. I WANTED FOX BUT THIS IS SO AWESOME.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI really wish replays could be uploaded to Youtube, just like in MK 8.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThe replays are... Weird. Basically, they don't actually record the fight, they record the inputs and start a "new" match with all the exact same inputs being done. Convoluted as that my sound, it makes for smaller file sizes.

I sure said that!I remember in Brawl it also sometimes resulted in replays not actually going the same way as the original match and at times made the computers do some really odd stuff, too.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I decided to torture characters in training with items as villager. I'm a good person.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?Stache Man has grown too intelligent.
He knows everything. I can't trick him in to anything.
That's why I throw a bunch of bombs at him
Is this a Jo Jo reference?I made a stage called "Torture Chamber" which is a tubular hall leading to a big room full of lava. I love tossing CP Us in there and watching them achieve 999% and bounce all over the place.
I tried it on Stache Man.
It worked once, then he learned how to do it to me.
So, anyone got any ideas for dealing with Cruel Smash? I could handle the low-rung and general Challenges for it in Smash 3DS, but the Wii U ones are just destroying me.
I sure said that!See? They're evil.
I had my sister's boyfriend, who's actually good at the game, try and beat my Pikachu. He lost every time. We had to co-op against it to win.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Try this for two challenges.

Is this a Jo Jo reference?Shulk's visions do wonders when trying to get raw numbers. Go near the ledge and wait for them to gang up on you. When you activate the counter, press forward and keep it pressed. If you're attacked, Shulk will cut through his opponents and send them flying backwards. If you counter a Smash attack, they'll have even more trouble trying to get back, even if hit at 0%
Using this method, I managed break the 10 K.O. mark in Cruel Smash. Talk about making you (really) feel like a badass.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Here you go. 8 KOs. There's also survive one minutes as Luigi but I don't recall them saying anything more interesting than "stay on the ledge and ledge-attack sometimes.

Alternative Weegee method: ALL OF THE ROLLING!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Your ninja comment was also ninja'd.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyY'know, for as much as I adore their remixes of that song (except for that one version from Brawl that I hated even back then), I hope for the next game they remember that there's more music in the Donkey Kong series besides Jungle Hijinx. I get the appeal of having more than one interpretation of it up there, but there's like seven versions of it in the game.
Even the Super Mario Bros theme isn't that ubiquitous in this soundtrack.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Thank you all so much for helping, though!
I sure said that!I'm going to pop in with a few questions:
- What's the best way to unlock custom specials in the Wii U version? In every method I've tried, I get one good run with lots of specials, followed by a ton of equipment and maybe one special if the game is feeling nice.
- Are there any ways to unlock more music other than special orders?
- When I look at the music, some tracks have a red "Remix" icon, while others have a dark gray icon. What's the difference?
I dunno why, but when I started out in this game this was like, the most hilariously easy move to get out of, but now that I've played for over 10 hours suddenly it's the main thing that kills me when I fight the hands.
Anyone know the history of Smash going on sale? Asking mostly because I want to buy a digital copy instead so it's always on my console instead of me having to switch it out.
MMORPGs are serious business.
