I don't know when it happened, but I think I once had a daydream. Or just a vivid imagination.
Basically, it started with Asagi running towards a bunch of Nintendo characters who are fighting in a turn-based manner like Disgaea, saying something like, "If I can't be the main character, I'll take a spot in Super Smash Bros." But then, Etna comes in with a "Not so fast!" and then Etna kicks her ass, and then something like,
Etna
Steals the show
or something. And then the very first thing she does it pull Asagi out of an assist trophy.
Also, at the end, you see Laharl and Flonne, and Asagi is like, "What, are you guys assist trophies as well?" to which Laharl says, "Not exactly."
Cue Etna's Final Smash.

Revya and Gig would be fantastic. There could be a system where she could just use Gig as a sword and do normal damage, or tap into his strength and do a ton of damage, but take damage yourself.

Well this confirms the 3DS version will have bosses as well. I was wondering about that myself. Now Ridley can appear on both versions as a boss.

They should give Sonic a Sonic Colors stage. Asteroid Coaster or Starlight Carnival would be awesome.
Hey, thinking about it, I wonder what stage Metroid is getting on the 3DS. I don't think it's going to be Pyrosphere.
Travis's down special should be switching his beam katanas (Blood Berry for weak, quick attacks, Peony for slow, strong attacks, and Rose Nasty for overall hitting several times, or possibly strong, quick, but very short range).
His side special should be Blueberry Cheesecake Brownie (fires a laser ball from his beam katana)
His final smash should be that darkside move where he pretty much goes super saiyan or maybe the one where he becomes a tiger.
