With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. Some guys did try to make a Smash RPG fangame on the internets, but it got no-where.
If there is a Smash RPG, I want a scene where Ocelot gets out-gambitted by EGGMAN, just for giggles. IQ of 300, baby!
A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.I always got a kick out of the idea of Metal Gear REX launching Subspace warheads.
Moar like Metal Gear Melee, amirite?
A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.Maybe it'd end up being Nintendo X Konami.
I think I have heard of Nintendo Versus Capcom, which is pretty belivable (After DC Versus Mortal Kombat almost anything is actual belivable), but I'm not trusting that really much. On another point, some Smashers are afraid of the next chapter having characters to buy online. What if instead Nintendo is more sneak and makes characters unlockale by having the data of another game of Nintendo (or of another house involved in the game like Sega or Konami)? This would not be new, since in Super Smash Bros. Melee you got the Pikmin trophy if you had the data of Pikmin in the same card and in Mario Kart Wii you get Rosalina as character (Man, she's so hot!) if you have the data of Super Mario Sunshine in the memory of the Wii.
If that were just an alternate way to unlock characters(with the others being-in game), that would fine. I think they should just keep it to cosmetic items like trophies, though.
I could see a stage or two, though. Again, as an alternate method.
Given how obnoxious/shady Capcom has been in recent years, I'm not too certain if I'd like a Nintendo Vs. Capcom game, as cool as some of the matchups would be.
I sure said that!I don't think pre-saved data should be the ONLY way to get some stuff. Otherwise you can't get 100% completion without having an entire other game. Though getting some random trophies early would be okay.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I was talking over on The Fire Emblem topic and they said that Hector was the only one who was a reasonable choice for an ax wielding guy in the game.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. What if it was FREE DLC made AFTER the full game was released on time?
It would almost definitely be the second of those things. But you would have to pay for it.
Although, Nintendo is a fan of giving things away free for a limited time, before they become paid elements.
[nitpicking] You get Rosalina early by playing 50 races with a Super Mario Galaxy save. Sunshine is the Gamecube Mario game. [/nitpicking]
Anyone wanna go at it, what with it being the weekend.

You shouldn't make assumptions like that. If Sonic was added at the last minute, he probably wouldn't have been in the story mode at all. Toon Link, Wolf, and Jigglypuff weren't, and I doubt that Jigglypuff, one of the original 12, was a last minute addition.
The story was pretty far into it, so they could probably only fit Sonic in the end of it. Still, it's not as bad as it would seem.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!At the very least, they let Sonic do something awesome for the brief time he was featured. Almost has a "sorry I'm late to the party" vibe to it >_>
I’m not saying THAT was bad. I’m saying USUALLY last minute changes MIGHT ruin a good game because the developers don’t have enough time to ponder about the possible backfires. Which is the same thing that can happen when the realase of a game is anticipated on the schedule to stand the competition. And that is another danger.
So I heard SSB 4 started development. Knowing Sakurai, it'll be released in 2015 at the least.
That's...not that bad, considering it was 6-7 years between Melee and Brawl.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! That's acceptable. But then it has to be proportionally epic to the wait for it. Like having an intro music of THIS level.

That begs the question: planning on getting the Wii U version, or the 3DS version? Something tells me Nintendo may do some sort of 'exclusive' gimmick, like having some characters be Wii U exclusive, and others be 3DS exclusive, and you'd have to trade between or something.
Because Sakurai hates you.
