Working With A God Mode Sue

OK, here's the setup: My heroine's mother is a Reality Warper but even without using her powers she can still kick a lot of ass. On top of that, she's got exotic beauty, an exotic name, and a troubled history. She's also destined to be a "Judge" of her world, which is someone who will pass judement on the people and decide their ultimate fates. I've had a lot of fun creating stuff for this character but I'm working very carefully so she doesn't take the spotlight. And so while she does intervene at one point in the story to save her daughter and her friends, it's carefully planned so it doesn't work out as an Ass Pull. Is this a good way to go?

I see nothing wrong with it out of context.

I'd have to read the story itself to be sure.
