I don't think that is really a point. It's just Youtube's policy to react to all complains, regardless of their legal significance.
I don't think anyone was blaming You Tube. But you've got to wonder about CBS who is basically complaining about someone who freely advertises their product once a week.
A product that would otherwise be largely forgotten due to just how bad their last two offerings in the series were.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritI'm a little confused about the Outrageous Okona review. He specifically said that he'd be remixing the reviews when reposting on Blip, expanding them and such. Yet he still uses the "this'll be two parts" and "welcome to part two". Why? It's all one video now, and he's tweaking lines of dialog all over the place elsewhere, why is he still acting like it's in two parts?

For this one? I'm thinking it's just to emphasize how much the episode wronged him.
Also, I'm really disappointed Memory Alpha is losing the breastathon. Come on Trekkies! Sure not many of us may have felt one, but we can still post citations!
You've got bare chested Alaya Secura over on Wookiepedia. Unless Seven gets naked I don't think MA is going to win this one.

Still doesn't answer the question. This isn't Chuck just merging the two You Tube videos into one file for Blip, he was adding and tweaking dialog all over the place to remaster the review. There's no need for it to still look like two parts merged into one video.
Yes, it kinda does. He originally planned to upload the remastered version as a two-parter, then changed his mind at the last minute when everything was already edited. Re-dubbing those lines would've been a pain, especially with his current workload so he left those in because it hardly matters anyway.
I do love how he's finally gotten around to explain what a bitch Pulaski was.
I know one of us tipped him to do that but...
I can't help but look at the review and think Network Decay.
A friend of mine said that the Enterprise episode "vanishing point" (I think that was it) was monumentally stupid. Anyone want to pool a bit of funds and contribute a request for it? (or some other episode?)
Why's that? The Dark Knight firmly falls into the nerd territory Chuck usually covers.
Oh hey, a Shout-Out to Linkara.

Where was it this time?
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyI enjoyed it. It was nice to see Chuck's take on it.
The part I liked best was how he pointed out just what the Joker had done with the hanging batclone. He'd snuck a dead body into city hall, carted it all the way to the roof. He'd figured out exactly where he needed to be dropped to hit the right window and calculated exactly how much rope he needed for the bat clone to land at just the right spot. He even made sure to use rope thick enough to handle a chubby batclone's fall. Then he kicked the body off and bolted before he got caught.
All that for no other reason than to fuck with the mayor's head.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritYeah, Chuck definitely had a good review. I liked it a lot.
Oh I was just making a joke at his name change in the same manner as "Sy Fy". I know he made a similar joke in another review but can't recall which one.
"This is a two-part review, and I don't care." Excise this one sentence and everything would be peachy keen. This didn't need another sentence dubbed over it, it just had to be removed along with the part one/two bumpers and "welcome to part two."
You wanted to know why and you've got your answer. Why are you suddenly arguing about this point? If it really bothers you that much, ask Chuck to fix it; end of story.
It's just that Chuck spent a good deal of time in the same review talking about how many reviews he's done, and how he's to be considered a "serious reviewer", and all that. Chuck is remastering his reviews and referring to the quantity of them to put himself on a plateau above the amateur. To me this means that he should stop acting like an amateur. Had he just posted the things as is, in order, identically to the You Tube videos (except for adding 99 Luftballoons to the Next Gen reviews that were missing them, of course), I would've been just fine. They didn't need to be remastered and reedited in my opinion, but he's doing it. This invites opinions of this sort.
This right here is the very definition of a fan completely losing their shit over something so incredibly inconsequential.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritI... did not take anything Chuck said very seriously except in service of a joke.
I mean... his entire opening joke isn't "I'm a professional" but, "Guys, you know I watch bad things. So believe me when I say, this is a whole new level of bad."
On the contrary, whenever he said something about the importance and the level of professionalism of his videos it was always with a heavy dose of self-deprecation.
He either simply forgot about those bits when he decided to merge the two parts or he figured it wouldn't be a big deal. And it really isn't, I'd rather he spend the time necessary to edit those unobtrusive parts out (and we're talking about at least an hour of work while simple merging takes less than a minute) for another video or relaxing from his current massive workload.
And the reason we needed a merge in the first place...is?
Really, I'm asking.
It's easier on users.
Especially since blip's changed some of their "play" features lately.
Apparently the borg were based on network executives.
