Tried the demo and didn't like it much... I like the style but the cutscenes take too long and it's a little too open-ended for my tastes... too much stuff to do and not enough direction or indication of what does what.
The opening cutscenes are the longest that I've had - the game proper had much shorter cutscenes.
This game is a completionists nightmare. So...much...STUFF.
I'm enjoying it, but yeah, it's a bit daunting.
But I love Schafer's wit in this game.
Jonah FalconCrap, I need to finish it! Hold on, DLC, I'm working on it!
Finished it a couple nights ago. Brilliant, brilliant game, with a spectacular finish.
Just started up the last area of the game. The Zepplin sequence had a hell of an ending!
I noticed the Hobo King achievements are already up even though the DLC isn't out yet. Curse you, Schaefer!
If you thought the zeppelin ending was good, the train tops it so frigging hard.

And done. Had to play a little bit of post game because I accidentally set off the ending sequence with a few hijinks, dolls, and challenges left.
Fantastic experience. I liked it much better than Costume Quest - this is a huge game for the price tag!
I do worry about Tim Schafer's mental health. So many puzzles at the end involved farting, feces, snot, and Fartillery.
Also OMG THEY ATE THE BARON FREAKING HELL!
I dunno, the ridiculous fart-nuke at the end was pretty epic.
Just wrapped the DLC. It was a decent romp, but rather hollow. The goal of the pack wasn't that interesting, especially compared to the epic nature of the main quest. The Costume Quest DLC dealt with another world-shattering threat, for comparison.
I hope if they do more DLC, it has a little more to it. At least I got to slap buckets on people's heads. And brownie points to Hans Allendorf taking a level in badass!
I'm just looking for families to unite :p
