@RTL - haggis is bleh. And yes, fish and chips aside, Britain really does dislike its own cuisine...

[up][up] I don't think I've ever had a piece that I didn't have to add wasabi to myself.

[up] You've had it? Isn't haggis just a bunch of ground up animal parts? It's like the Scottish version of hot dogs! And fish and chips are great, though I have a bit of an aversion to fried foods.

okay, haggis is widely considered to be bleh. But everyone still has it when they go to Scotland. That and deep-fried Mars bars

Still, most British people far prefer the cuisine of other countries to their own

I don't think I've ever had a piece that I didn't have to add wasabi to myself.
There two main types of sushi, the round ones and the ones which are basically a little bunch of rice with something on top of it. The ones that tend to have wasabi in it is the latter.

There are other types of sushi, but I haven't seen any outside of Japan.

@Sunshine: So it's kind of like America, then. Except that we sort of stole a few other nations' cuisine and acted like it was our own.

@Funny: Oats too? I guess that's better than cockroach bits.

@Meo: Interesting, I guess that's why I've never had wasabi except on the side before. They only seem to serve the latter in restaurants, which I'm too cheap to go to except for like once a year.

Spicy is good.

Spiciest thing I've had so far is the Blazing wings at Buffalo Wild Wings.

They were only painful for like the first 10 minutes because your mouth goes numb afterwards.

British Food: I remember once I read a review for a brand of "Crisps" (*Cough*)THEY'RECALLEDCHIPS(*Cough*) that "Had a distinct aftertaste of ironing board"

And Brown Ketchup.

...'nuff said.

Oh, and there is a desert called "Clotted Cream", Things that have clots should not be eaten.

*has never tried brown ketchup*

However, Honey Mustard and Dijon Mustard are tasty on nearly anything. Fact.

Found a picture.

Nigirizushi is the type that typically has wasabi inside. Makizushi is the type most common here. Tamakizushi is a type I've yet to see outside of Japan.

Far worse. Things that defy not only the bounds of physics, but sanity as well.

In other words, a cyberorgy.

@Naney - ..

   CRISPS.

but yeah British food is terrible

... and yes, FLG is all kinds of ridiculous. I posted in there once and only once to make some kind of pun and I've never looked in there again since. It's not the act I object to, but there's a perfectly good PM system... I don't see the need for its existence really

I've peeked in there once or twice. I think it was during a derail, so it didn't seem that bad, though I haven't looked again, because its reputation proceeds it.

Which is weird, because usually my curiosity about stuff like that gets the best of me.

... I don't really get how you could be an online exhibitionist. It just seems... I mean, you could still do a fantasy through PMs of having public sex and really it would be about as 'public' as FLG is... I don't get it, really. *shrug*

and you will use proper words, boy. Speak English.
