How a little girl would fake it. Melodramatically, probably in the same vein of something she saw on TV.
My webzone.TV doesn't exist in this universe - it's a medieval fantasy. She invents this technique independently.
And what I'm asking isn't how she'd act (I've already figured that out) but how she'd be able to figure out things that she's not expected to know.
If I'm asking for advice on a story idea, don't tell me it can't be done.If your limited to just the girl's natural abilities, she overheard something on the way in, puts two and two together on something, or vaguely guesses something, and manages to get it right. That last one also leaves it open if you want to pull an Or Is It later on, or just introducing the possibility, causing a freak out on her part.

My webzone.Almost sorta kinda sounds like your subverting the premise of Psych which has a fake psychic as the protagonist.

If I'm asking for advice on a story idea, don't tell me it can't be done.Yeah, It takes Sherlock Scan to fake being a psychic, but you could have it start as a sort of habit guessing as well, in the past she's made guesses about the guards holding her that turned out to be true, which leads to her develop this into the skill of reading people, which will come in handy for the tests
I have a character who is a little girl being experimented on in a laboratory. She's got the spirit of a dead Emotion Eater inside her, and they're testing her to see if she remembers any of his memories or has any of his powers. She doesn't, but under their brutal testing methods, she's highly motivated to fake it. How would she do so?
