I also got past the last door.
Erm...I...yeah.
Why did I play that, again? I feel like I've done something wrong. >_<
Clover wearing K's mask will become a major plot point.

Before I try the Flash demo, I figure I should ask: How not-clothed does she get?
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaStage 1: Normal outfit.
Stage 2: Schoolgirl Swimsuit.
Stage 3: Bra and Panties. And the bra falls off at the end, though nothing explicit is shown. Oh, and the camera zooms into her cleavage once the door is open enough. o_O
I still feel weird/wrong/bad about having played that...

Where does her cleavage come from anyways? I know she was dressed more conservatively in 999, but she still looked like her bust size was nothing impressive. Then next thing you know, skimpy outfit equals boobs.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadI blame the pre-game Anime. Anime always causes a spike in breast size. >_>
Not to mention, I bet Lotus would be furious to find out someone in the series has bigger boobs than her.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaHey, I was just thinking of something. Doesn't the sequel game say that only people with the same bracelet color can enter through doors? In that case, I believe that the color of bracelets may change after you complete a puzzle.
The theme of the game is betrayal, right? What better way to inspire betrayal than to split up someone from the partner that they just worked with?
Why the hell would you betray someone in this version of the game? Unless you're afraid that there aren't going to be enough doors for you to get a 9 or higher if you cooperate each time...
But if you betray someone, what are the chances that you'll actually be able to hide that and get other people to go through doors with you?
I have a message from another time...I dunno man. Ask the crazy wabbit. o3o
Anywho, I found the rules:
At the beginning of each round, each player is randomly assigned a 'random' color, plus solo/pair designation. The two "pair" players of the same color play as a team for that round. To enter a colored door, a "pair" team plus a "solo" player must go together, and the two colors must add together to match the CD's color or its complement. e.g. red solo + blue pair -> magenta door
The players enter the CD, then are locked inside an area. To escape, they must find the escape key by opening the safe with the passcode. Together with the key they will also find the Ambidex Room cards, which are used to access the ambidex room in order to play the ambidex game. Initially each set of ambidex room cards are good for only one round, but after a certain round, the ambidex cards can be re-used indefinitely, allowing for an indefinite number of ambidex game rounds until someone wins and exit. (Obviously the number of escape game rounds must be limited, due to physical restrictions of the premise.)

Also, some slightly spoileriffic info~
For those who are not aware of this, the game title is actually a pun with double meanings: "zennin" means good person, "shibou" can mean either "die" or "want to be", and "desu" can mean either "death" or, well, nothing. So the whole title can mean either "Good people, Die! Die!" or "I want to be nice".

I think Nintendo Power confirmed it was indeed heading Stateside in their most recent issue.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThis was already linked by someone else on the game board but it's also worth noting that the English version of Virtue's Last Reward (new name of the game) will have dual-language support! Can't wait to switch back and forth between English and Japanese to determine which version I prefer!
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadZero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.
Oh goodness, the double meanings in that title.
Zero Escape could either be a pessimistic "there is no escape", or simply saying that the object is to escape from Zero.
And then, of course, "Virtue's Last Reward". The fact that the Japanese title is "Good People Die", that is an ominous phrasing.
I have a message from another time...also,they said 999 has been re-titled so both games can be more easily associated together as part of a franchise. 999 is now titled as Zero Escape:Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. That implies they will re-print the game with the new title.Wanna bet that the old title will have its prices jacked up on Ebay and stuff?
by the way, does anybody know if the differences between 3DS and Vita versions are huge?I know in one we have 3D and dual-screen,and the other has better resolution and trophies.I only got a 3DS,but would I miss something by not playing the Vita one?

I don't think the game's even out in Japan yet, so it's probably too early to tell. I wouldn't imagine so, though.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaHonestly, I think it just means that whenever they refer to Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors, they'll call Zero Escape first. or maybe Zero Escape:999.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadThey're planning another sequel? ALREADY? I wonder if Clover will be in this one, too.
Clover: *wakes up in a fourth Nonary Game* ... ... ...Okay, this **** is seriously getting old. :|
Maybe they'll bring in another fan-favorite, like Snake, maybe.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI spoiled myself to the game. I couldn't handle the wait. I regret nothing. @_@
Alright, good going Aksys. I didn't think it was possible to pull something more crazy and mind-fucking than 999, but you succeeded with flying colors.

I spoiled myself some more today. ._.
Apparently...
The game takes place in 2074, Sigma/Clover/Alice were taken from another time, Sigma is Zero (in the future) and has cybernetic arms that prevent him from succumbing to poison, Luna is a robot made by Akane, Dio wants to kill Akane, Alice and Quark are infected with a disease called Radical-6 (it apparently makes Alice suicidal), K is Akane, and Tenmyouji is Junpei.
: Aksys is just the publisher, aren't they? I thought it was someone else who developed these...
Also, must not spoil self. Must wait for game. Must not spoil self. Must wait for game.

Ah, Ghost Trick...good times, good times. From the moment I started playing it, the story and gameplay fascinated me, and it was a joy to play from beginning to end. Like 999, it's a game that I'd highly recommend.
Also, out of curiosity, I got past the third/final door in the above-mentioned flash out of curiosity. For those with light stomachs, I assure you that 'scary' is not a word I'd use to describe any point of that experience. But if I were to say that there's nothing surprising that occurs once the last door opens...well, I'd be blatantly lying.
